The Baidu Search Resource Platform is Baidu's official service for site owners who want their pages found in Baidu search. After a site is added and verified, it offers URL submission tools, index volume and keyword reports, crawl diagnostics, dead link submission, mobile page matching and site migration tools, and Baidu says it also provides SEO advice and API access. The platform and its help pages are in Chinese.

## Key features

- **URL submission:** Push new links to Baidu in real time to shorten the time before its crawler finds them; Baidu says submission speeds crawling but does not guarantee indexing.
- **Traffic and keywords:** Impressions and clicks for a site's popular keywords in Baidu results, plus a list of custom keywords to watch.
- **Index volume:** How many of a site's pages are in Baidu's index, with the option to follow chosen directories separately.
- **Crawl diagnostics and crawl errors:** See a page as Baidu's spider fetches it to check it matches what you expect, alongside crawl frequency, crawl error and robots.txt tools.
- **Dead links, mobile matching and migrations:** Submit dead links to be dropped from search, map PC pages to their mobile versions, and submit old-to-new URL rules after a domain or directory change.
- **AI traffic analysis:** The menu includes an AI traffic analysis report (AI流量分析), whose contents are shown only after a site has been added.

## Good for

- Sites aiming for search traffic from mainland China
- Getting new pages crawled sooner by Baidu
- Cleaning up dead links and domain moves in Baidu's index

## Worth knowing

- The platform and its help pages are in Chinese; no English version was found.
- Fast crawling is not open to every site, and sitelinks are offered on a trial basis to sites Baidu rates highly.
- Sites are verified by file or HTML tag only; the Baidu Tongji import method has been withdrawn.
- Baidu's pages show no prices, but none of those read states outright that the platform is free.

## ToolGPA grades

**GPA: 3.0 out of 4**, graded Oct 23, 2026. Baidu's Search Resource Platform lets you push new links to Baidu, see index volume and keyword data, check how its spider fetches a page and clean up dead links and domain moves. But everything is in Chinese, fast crawling and sitelinks are only for sites Baidu picks, verification is by file or tag only, and none of its pages says outright that it's free.

- **Value for money: A.** No price anywhere on Baidu's pages and nothing to buy: add and verify a site with a Baidu account and the tools open. None of the pages actually says it's free, though.
- **Free plan and trial: A.** Every webmaster tool is open once a site is verified, with no paid tier on record. Fast crawling and sitelinks are granted only to sites Baidu deems eligible.
- **Features: C.** URL submission, index volume, keywords, crawl diagnostics, robots.txt, dead links, mobile matching and site migration tools. The gaps: it's Baidu's view only, and fast crawling isn't open to every site.
- **Ease of use: C.** No rating on record. The platform and its help pages are in Chinese, and you verify the site by file or HTML tag with a Baidu account before anything shows.
- **Platforms and integrations: B.** Web only. Baidu says it offers API access, and new links can be pushed to it in real time; no other integrations are on record.

## Keep it, or make your own?

**Keep it.** Baidu Search Resource Platform is free, so making your own would save you nothing. And it is not the kind of software a weekend replaces. It is one of the better ones too: its GPA of 3.0 is higher than 73 of the 83 other technical SEO tools we grade.

- You could not: A crawler that checks every page of a site.
- You could not: An API that other software can build on.

A judgement by ToolGPA from this listing, by rules that are the same for every tool. Nothing was built to test it.
