# COL Reminder

> Reminder app for Android with call, parking and location alerts

COL Reminder is a reminder app for Android phones, with a Wear OS companion that shows notifications on a watch. It handles text, phone call, parking-time, birthday and location-based reminders and backs them up to Google Drive; the developer describes it as a reminder tool and says it should not be confused with a to-do list. The app is free to use, a donation unlocks a few extra features, and adding reminders from a computer's browser needs a subscription.

## Key features

- **Text and phone call reminders:** A text reminder notifies at an exact time, and a call reminder notifies when a call is due and dials the number with one tap.
- **Parking and birthday reminders:** A parking reminder runs a countdown for a short-term parking spot, and birthday reminders notify a few days ahead and again on the day.
- **Location-based reminders:** A donation feature that triggers a reminder on entering or leaving a place, with a selectable distance range such as 50 m, 100 m or 1000 m.
- **Repeat options and priorities:** Donors get six repeat types from minutely to yearly, with an end date or a set number of events, and up to four priorities with their own ringtones and vibration.
- **Backup and Wear OS:** Reminders can be backed up to Google Drive automatically or to local storage, and a Wear OS app delivers notifications to a watch.
- **COL Reminder Web:** A browser page for Chrome or Firefox that sends new reminders to the phone and shows the phone's notifications on the computer. It needs a subscription bought in the app.
