For a US reader, though, it's a no: there's no US edition, and prices are in Australian dollars with a 10-user minimum.

- **Value for money: C.** There's no US price: payroll is A$10 a user a month, in Australian dollars, with a 10-user minimum, so a team of five pays for ten, A$100 a month. With no US edition, a US team has nothing to buy here at any price.
- **Free plan and trial: F.** No free plan or trial on record, and every plan bills for at least 10 users from the start.
- **Features: C.** In its own countries it covers payroll well: Australian STP and super, UK RTI, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia filings, an AI agent that prepares pay runs, rostering and HR. But there's no US edition, so it can't pay a US team.

**Keep it.** To replace Employment Hero you would be making payroll taxes worked out and filed with the government for you. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one. That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 18 of the 18 other payroll services grade higher.

- You could not: Payroll taxes worked out and filed with the government for you.
- You could not: A real app for iOS and Android. Something home-made would be a web page.
