## Good for

- Etsy sellers choosing titles and tags for new listings
- Shops checking their listings for missing tags and other problems
- Sellers who want to watch competitors' estimated sales

## Worth knowing

- Shop connection, audits and competitor sales estimates are built for Etsy shops only.
- The free plan has 5 keyword lookups a day and no keyword ideas, which start on Basic.
- Competitor sales are eRank's estimates, not figures from Etsy, and the app is not endorsed by Etsy.
- Cancelling a paid plan moves the account to the Free plan at the end of the billing period.

## ToolGPA grades

**GPA: 2.6 out of 4**, graded Oct 23, 2026. eRank is an SEO toolkit for Etsy sellers: keyword volumes, clicks and competition on Etsy, listing audits, AI help with titles and tags, and estimates of rivals' daily sales. Paid plans start at $5.50 a month on yearly billing, and there's a free plan. But shop tools are Etsy only, the free plan stops at 5 lookups a day with no keyword ideas, and rival sales are eRank's estimates, not Etsy's figures.

- **Value for money: A.** Basic is $5.50 a month on yearly billing, $5.99 monthly, under 60% of this category's cheapest quarter. Even Pro, with 50 competitors and 4,000 listings, is $7.92 on yearly billing. Cancel and you drop back to Free.
- **Free plan and trial: C.** Free for good, with no card: 5 keyword lookups and 5 audits a day, 1 shop with 50 listings and 1 competitor. You'll hit those caps, and keyword ideas only start on Basic.
- **Features: C.** Etsy keyword volume, clicks and competition, trends from more than a dozen marketplaces, listing audits, an AI Listing Helper, competitor sales estimates and a rank checker. It does Etsy research fully, but that's a smaller job than keyword research in general.
- **Ease of use: C.** No rating on record. Looking up a keyword is quick, but audits, traffic stats and the rank checker need your Etsy shop connected first.
- **Platforms and integrations: B.** Web plus a Chrome extension, with no desktop or phone app. It connects to Etsy and adds keyword stats on Printify and Shopify pages.

## Keep it, or make your own?

**Keep it.** To replace eRank you would be making search volumes for millions of keywords, gathered and kept up to date. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one. It is one of the better ones too: its GPA of 2.6 is higher than 38 of the 51 other keyword research tools we grade. It costs $66 a year.

- You could not: Search volumes for millions of keywords, gathered and kept up to date.
- You could not: Daily checks of where your pages rank in search results.
- You could not: AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
