## ToolGPA grades

**GPA: 2.2 out of 4**, graded Oct 24, 2026. Smoobu syncs calendars with Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia and other portals and takes direct bookings through its own booking site, with the core features on every plan. It's billed in euros, from €29 a month for one unit plus 0.9% of each booking, with more for each extra unit. Dynamic pricing is a separate product, and the listing shows no owner statements or cleaning tasks.

- **Value for money: C.** €29 a month for one unit plus 0.9% of each booking, or €31.50 a month billed yearly with no booking fee. In dollars that sits between this category's middle ($25.52) and its dearer quarter ($40). Extra units start at €9.60 each.
- **Free plan and trial: C.** A 14-day trial of Smoobu Professional with no card needed and nothing held back. There's no free plan.
- **Features: C.** Channel sync with 100+ portals, a booking engine and website, scheduled guest messages, online check-in, invoicing, team accounts and an API. The gaps: dynamic pricing is a separate product, and no owner statements or cleaning tasks are on record.
- **Ease of use: C.** No app-store rating on record. You connect your portals and build the booking website yourself, so there's setup to do.
- **Platforms and integrations: B.** Web, iPhone and Android, full API access and connections to 40+ other apps, plus Stripe and PayPal. There's no desktop app.

## Keep it, or make your own?

**Keep it.** To replace Smoobu you would be making two-way connections to Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one. That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 6 of the 10 other vacation rental tools grade higher. It costs $389.97 a year.

- You could make: Invoicing and reports: an app builder makes these well.
- You could not: Two-way connections to Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo.
- You could not: A real app for iOS and Android. Something home-made would be a web page.
- You could not: It plugs into other products, Airbnb, Booking.com and Expedia among them, and has an API.

A judgement by ToolGPA from this listing, by rules that are the same for every tool. Nothing was built to test it.
