How we grade them

Value for money
APremium is $3.29 a month billed annually, or $4.50 monthly, when a typical planner asks about $7.99. It lifts every cap and adds calendar sync. Mind where you buy: the US App Store lists $5.99 for 1 month and $39.99 for 1 year, plus a separate $39.99 purchase named AI Features.
BThe US App Store lists Pro purchases from $7.00 to $54.00 without showing which are monthly and which are yearly, and Tiimo publishes no price list. If the low figures are months, that's about typical for a planner. We can't call it better than that.
Free plan and trial
BFree for good, but capped at 3 habits, 3 goals, 5 projects and 3 task reminders, with only the schedule and day views. Mood entries and guided meditations are 1 a week. Three reminders is tight. The Premium trial is just 3 days.
BFree on iPhone and Android, with the basic planner, to-do list, focus timer and 1 profile. But AI chats are limited, the web planner isn't included, and calendar integration is listed as Pro. The 7-day trial comes only with the yearly subscription.
Features
ATask lists with subtasks and tags, projects with a kanban view, a calendar, a habit tracker with more than 80 presets and streaks, goals by day, week, month or year, a mood diary with statistics, and a Pomodoro timer. Type "call tomorrow at 5pm" and it lands on the calendar.
AA drag-and-drop timeline with colours and icons, a to-do tab, a visual countdown timer, mood check-ins, and an AI Co-planner that breaks tasks into steps and guesses how long each takes. Calendars come in from Apple, Google and Outlook. The Co-planner isn't on Android, mind.
Ease of use
B4.57 from about 3,700 App Store ratings, just under our line for an A. Each tool is a widget you add to your day, so you can start with a task list and bolt on habits or mood later.
B4.59 from about 20,600 App Store ratings, a whisker under our line for an A. You can type or just say what's on your mind and the Co-planner turns it into tasks, which is about as gentle a start as a planner gets.
Platforms and integrations
AiPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, Windows and the web. It works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, Google Meet, Zoom, Apple Reminders and Siri. Syncing with Google and Apple Calendar is a Premium feature, mind.
AiPhone, Android, Mac, Apple Watch and a web planner, with Apple, Google and Outlook calendars brought in. No Windows app. The Mac version needs macOS 15 and an M1 chip or later, and the web planner needs Pro.
