Agent Zero
AI Agents
Open-source agent framework that works in its own Linux computer
Agents and AI teammates that carry out multi-step work for you, from research to inbox triage.
These three do different jobs for people who want to hand off whole tasks. Manus comes first: a general agent on the web, desktop and phone, with free credits daily. Viktor is second for teams that want an agent in Slack or Microsoft Teams, and OpenClaw is third for people who want one on their own hardware. Genspark narrowly missed first: it does much the same job, but its free credits stop at a lifetime allowance. Lindy narrowly missed second: it charges $29.99 per user a month, not per workspace. Hosted assistants you text, agent builders and role-based helper bundles are not represented.

For: Most people
Manus is a general-purpose agent: you give it a goal and it works through the steps on a cloud computer, returning finished output such as research reports, slide decks and websites. It runs on the web, Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android, and a Chrome extension lets it act inside your own logged-in browser tabs. The Free plan refreshes 300 credits a day, up to 1,500 a month, and Pro starts at $20 a month for 4,000 credits. Its iPhone and iPad app averages 4.7 from about 38,700 ratings. Know the limits: free accounts get only the Manus 2.0 Lite model in Agent Mode, 1 task at a time and 2 scheduled tasks, unused monthly credits do not roll over, and no Linux app is listed.

For: Teams that want an agent in Slack or Microsoft Teams
Viktor is installed in Slack or Microsoft Teams and addressed in threads like a colleague, so everyone on the team can hand it work. It connects to tools such as Stripe, HubSpot, GitHub and Google Ads, returns finished reports, spreadsheets and dashboards, runs recurring jobs on a schedule and waits for approval before sensitive actions. It is priced by workspace, with no per-seat charge: from $50 a month for 20,000 shared credits, after up to $100 of free credits that never expire. It is second because it is used only through Slack or Teams, with no app of its own, and its free allowance is one-time, where Manus refreshes credits daily. Scheduled jobs use credits each time they run.

For: People who want an agent on their own hardware
OpenClaw is an open-source personal agent that runs on your own computer or server and is messaged from chat apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack and iMessage. It is MIT licensed with no paid version: you connect the model provider you choose, or a local model through Ollama or LM Studio, and its memory is stored on your machine, not in a vendor cloud. Desktop apps cover Mac, Windows and Linux. It is third because it asks more of you than the two above: there is no hosted service, so you install, run and update the Gateway yourself, and model usage is billed by the provider you connect. The iPhone and Android apps need a Gateway running on another machine.
