What is Manus?

Manus is a general-purpose AI agent that takes a goal and works through it on its own, returning finished output such as research reports, slide decks, websites, images and video. It runs in the browser, in desktop apps for macOS and Windows, and on iOS and Android, and a Chrome extension lets it act inside your own logged-in browser tabs. Usage is metered in credits: the free plan has a daily allowance, and the paid Pro and Team plans add monthly credits.

Tasks run in a cloud virtual machine that handles file operations, browser automation and code execution. Credits are consumed only while a task is actively processing.
