Worth knowing
Gamma
- Plus, Pro and Ultra prices are shown only on Gamma's pricing page; its help center gives the Business price, $40 per member per month billed annually.
- Free-plan AI credits do not refresh: accounts start with 400 and earn 200 more per referral. Paid plans get monthly credits, from 1,000 on Plus to 20,000 on Ultra.
- API keys, detailed viewer analytics, password protection and custom domains start at the Pro plan, and Ultra is sold on monthly billing only.
- The mobile apps are in early access, limited to the US and Canada, and edit only through the agent, with no manual editing.
Presentations.AI
- The free Starter plan is limited to 100 AI credits, the Starter AI model and decks of up to 20 slides; the FAQ lists PowerPoint export as a paid feature.
- The pricing page shows Pro and Gold on annual billing only, with AI credits allotted per billing cycle: 5,000 and 25,000.
- Presentation refresh, project knowledge and custom templates are Gold features.
- Listed prices are for the US; the pricing page says prices in other countries are adjusted for purchasing power.
Key features
Gamma
- Generate, paste or import
- Three ways to start: generate a draft from a topic, paste existing text for Gamma to lay out, or import a PowerPoint, Word or PDF file or a URL to be restyled.
- Agent
- The agent asks about goal and audience, shows a plan to approve, then researches, writes, designs and adds images. Changes are requested in plain language in the same chat.
- Present mode
- Decks are presented full screen or in a tab, with a presenter view for private speaker notes, a spotlight mode that highlights the current block, and a follow link viewers can use to keep pace.
- Export and import
- Exports to PDF, PNG and PowerPoint, with tables kept editable in PPTX. Imports accept PowerPoint and Word files up to 200 MB and PDFs up to 100 MB.
- Sites and custom domains
- A gamma can be published as a website. Pro can publish up to 10 multi-page sites to custom domains, and Ultra and Business up to 100.
- API and connectors
- A REST API, generally available since November 2025, creates gammas from text or templates on Pro and higher plans. ChatGPT, Claude and Slack connectors work on every plan.
Presentations.AI
- Deck generation from any input
- A text prompt, Word document, PDF, URL, Google Doc or Excel file is turned into a structured deck with copy, layouts and design. The sequence changes with the stated goal, such as a pitch or a board update.
- Brand Sync
- Pasting a website URL pulls the logo, fonts and colors and applies them to every slide. Paid plans add custom brand colors and fonts, and Gold adds saved custom templates.
- PowerPoint and PDF export
- Paid plans download decks as editable .pptx files that open in PowerPoint or Google Slides, or as PDF. The FAQ advises reviewing an exported file before an important meeting.
- Refresh
- A master deck can be updated with new data, a new recipient or a new context while its structure and design stay fixed. Presentation Refresh is listed as a Gold feature.
- Sharing and analytics
- Pro and Gold share decks through unbranded and password-protected links, embed them on websites, present remotely, and track views and engagement on individual slides.
- API and automation
- A REST API with webhooks generates decks from JSON, CSV or text and returns a PPTX, a PDF or a web link. Zapier and Make trigger generation without code.
