Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.4
GPA, above 6 of the 15 other email verification and deliverability tools we grade
Bouncer cleans email lists: it checks each address and marks it deliverable, risky or undeliverable, through a web app, an API or a connection to an email platform. It does not warm up inboxes or manage DMARC, but a separate Deliverability Kit runs inbox placement and blocklist tests. Verification is bought as credits that never expire, from $8 for 1,000.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Bouncer, taken from its own pages and our grades.
- 1

The report card
Best for list cleaning with credits that never expire
Bouncer checks a list and tells you which addresses are safe to send to, and its credits never expire, so it suits people who clean a list a few times a year. 10,000 checks cost $60, middle of the road for list cleaners. It won't warm up an inbox or manage DMARC, though a separate kit tests where your mail lands.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | C | 10,000 checks cost $60 as a one-off pack, and the credits never expire. Against the list cleaners it's listed beside that's mid-pack: MillionVerifier is $39 and NeverBounce $50, Emailable is also $60, Kickbox $70 and ZeroBounce about $129. |
| Free plan and trial | C | No free plan, but 100 free credits to start with no card. Enough to test a sample of your list, not to clean the whole thing. |
| Features | C | It cleans lists fully: deliverable, risky or undeliverable with reasons, a deeper catch-all check, a toxicity score and form checks. The Deliverability Kit tests placement and blocklists, but there's no warm-up or DMARC management, and the kit is sold apart. |
| Ease of use | B | No App Store rating on record, but there's nothing to set up: upload a CSV and download it sorted, or connect Mailchimp, HubSpot or Klaviyo and check the list where it lives. |
| Platforms and integrations | B | Web, an API and an MCP server, plus Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Brevo, Pipedrive, lemlist, Make and MailerLite. No phone or desktop app. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Bouncer is for
- Great if you clean a list a few times a year and don't want a subscription
- Handy when you want placement and blocklist tests from the same company
- Good for companies that want their data processed and hosted in the EU
Who it is not for
- Skip it if you need a new inbox warmed up, as Bouncer doesn't do that
- Pricey if you also want the Deliverability Kit, sold apart from $25 a month
Good to know
Good for
- Marketers who clean a list now and then and do not want a subscription
- Teams that also want to test inbox placement and watch blocklists
- Companies that want their data processed and hosted in the EU
Worth knowing
- Credits can also be bought as a monthly subscription that refills each month; the page shows its price only inside the calculator.
- Bouncer Shield, for form checks, is a separate monthly subscription priced by the number of checks.
- The Deliverability Kit is sold separately from verification credits.
- Bouncer does not warm up inboxes or manage DMARC records; the kit only tests them.
