Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.2
GPA, above 15 of the 21 other web hosts we grade
ChemiCloud, founded in 2016, sells shared cPanel hosting, a separate managed WordPress service, cloud VPS and reseller hosting from 8 server locations. Shared plans run on LiteSpeed with NVMe storage, daily offsite backups, Cloudflare CDN and email routed through MailChannels. Its managed WordPress plans add Redis object caching, automatic malware scans, staging and smart automatic updates.
To get you started, here are 8 things to know about ChemiCloud, taken from its own pages and our grades.
Migration staff move your site and email, but it's cPanel, so there's still some setting up to do.

The report card
Best for cheap cPanel hosting if you'll prepay three years
ChemiCloud is cPanel hosting on LiteSpeed and NVMe, with daily offsite backups, Cloudflare and unlimited email accounts. Pay three years upfront and Starter is $1.95 a month, $70.20 in all, which is hard to beat. Pay for one year and it's $3.49, then $14.95, and only 3-year terms come with a free domain.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | A | Starter's 3-year term is $1.95 a month, $70.20 upfront, so two years cost $70.20, about $2.93 a month, under the $5.97 an A needs. A year at $3.49 then $14.95 a month would be $221.28 instead. It renews at $11.95. |
| Free plan and trial | F | No free plan and no trial. Managed WordPress has a $1 first month, which is cheap but not free. |
| Features | B | LiteSpeed, NVMe, a Cloudflare CDN, daily offsite backups kept 10 to 30 days, unlimited email through MailChannels, free migrations and a site builder. One-click restores start on Pro, but the core job is covered. |
| Ease of use | C | No app store rating to go on. Migration staff move your site and email, but it's cPanel, so there's still some setting up to do. |
| Platforms and integrations | C | A web panel only. Cloudflare, MailChannels, Softaculous and the apps it installs are named, but no API is on record. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who ChemiCloud is for
- Great if you're happy to prepay three years for the lowest price
- Handy when you want unlimited email accounts at your domain
- Good for WordPress sites that want managed hosting priced per site
Who it is not for
- Pricey if you only pay for a year, as Starter goes from $3.49 to $14.95 a month
- Tight if you run more than one site, since Starter hosts one
- Skip it if you want a free domain on a 1-year term, as only 3-year terms get one
Good to know
Good for
- Small business sites that want cPanel hosting with daily backups
- WordPress sites that want managed hosting priced by the site
- Buyers willing to prepay three years for the lowest first-term price
Worth knowing
- First-term prices end after the term: Starter renews at $11.95 a month after 3 years or $14.95 after 1 year, and Turbo at $21.95.
- The free domain comes only with 3-year shared plans or annual managed WordPress plans, and only for the first year.
- The discount banner shows a countdown of under a day, so first-term prices may change; they apply to new customers only.
- Starter hosts one website; unlimited websites start with Pro.

Keep it

What you could not
