Part 01 · Overview

Welcome

What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first

2.4

GPA, above 6 of the 15 other email verification and deliverability tools we grade

Emailable cleans email lists in bulk, checks single addresses, and verifies sign-ups in real time through an API or a form widget. The same credits also pay for inbox placement reports and blacklist monitoring, so it covers testing as well as list cleaning, but it does not warm up inboxes or manage DMARC records. Credits never expire and are sold as one-off packs or a cheaper monthly subscription.

To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Emailable, taken from its own pages and our grades.

No App Store rating on record, but nothing to set up: upload a list and get it back checked.

The report card

Best for list cleaning plus inbox placement reports

Emailable cleans lists and checks sign-ups, and the same never-expiring credits pay for inbox placement reports and blacklist monitoring. 10,000 checks cost $60 as a pack, middle of the road, and a subscription takes 15% off. The smallest pack is 5,000 credits, though, and there's no warm-up or DMARC.

ToolGPA report cardEmailableGraded Oct 18, 2026
SubjectGradeComment
Value for moneyC$60 for a one-off 10,000 checks, the same as Bouncer. Among its listed rivals DeBounce ($25), Clearout ($32 a month billed yearly) and NeverBounce ($50) cost less, and ZeroBounce (about $129) more. A monthly subscription takes 15% off.
Free plan and trialCNo free plan, but 250 free credits for every new account, more than the 100 most rivals give. Enough to test a sample, not to clean a list.
FeaturesCIt cleans lists fully, with an API and a sign-up form widget, and the same credits buy inbox reports at 100 credits each and blacklist checks. No warm-up or DMARC tools, though: the reports only point out authentication errors.
Ease of useBNo App Store rating on record, but nothing to set up: upload a list and get it back checked. Emailable says 10,000 addresses usually take under 3 minutes.
Platforms and integrationsBWeb, an API and a form widget, with Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, Pipedrive and Google Sheets, plus Make and Zapier. No phone or desktop app.
Grade point averageFair, out of 4.02.4

An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.

Who Emailable is for

  • Great if you want list checks and placement reports on one credit balance
  • Handy when you clean lists now and then and want credits that keep
  • Good for adding a check to sign-up forms without writing code

Who it is not for

  • Tight if you only need a few hundred checks, as the smallest pack is 5,000 credits
  • Pricey if you run lots of placement tests, at 100 credits a report
  • Not for you if you need warm-up or DMARC management

Good to know

Good for

  • Marketers who want verification and placement tests on one credit balance
  • Developers adding real-time checks to sign-up forms
  • Senders who clean lists irregularly and want credits that keep

Worth knowing

  • The smallest purchase is 5,000 credits, more than some rivals' entry packs.
  • Inbox reports cost 100 credits each, so placement testing uses up a balance fast.
  • There are no warm-up or DMARC management tools; reports only point out authentication errors.

Keep it, or make your own?

Keep it

Nothing Emailable does is plain enough to make in a weekend. The 3 things listed below take a company.

It costs $38, paid once.

What you could not

  • Checking that an address exists without writing to it.
  • It plugs into other products, Mailchimp, HubSpot and Klaviyo among them, and has an API.
  • Hooks into the device itself: widgets.

What this rests on. Emailable’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
