Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
3.2
GPA, above 49 of the 51 other AI agents we grade
Genspark is an AI workspace built around Super Agent, an agent that plans a task, chooses tools and returns finished work such as research, slide decks, spreadsheets and documents. It runs on the web, in a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux, in iOS and Android apps and in a Chrome extension. Usage is metered in credits, with a free plan, Plus and Pro memberships, and per-seat Team and Enterprise plans.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Genspark, taken from its own pages and our grades.
You type what you want and the agent gets on with it.
- 1
Best for one agent for research, slides, sheets and docs
Genspark is an AI workspace built around Super Agent, which plans a job and hands back research, a slide deck, a spreadsheet or a document, on the web, desktop, both phones and Chrome.
- 2
Paid plans start at $19.99 a month
As its pricing page puts it: $19.99 per month, billed annually at $239.99 (Plus).
- 3
There is a free plan
100 credits a day up to a lifetime allowance, 1 GB of AI Drive storage, limited access to AI models and agents, and 4,000 words a week of Speakly voice input.
- 4
It runs on 6 platforms
Web, macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android, with a browser extension too.
- 5
Super Agent
Breaks a request into steps, picks tools and carries the work through to a finished result, running in a dedicated cloud sandbox with a real browser and its own filesystem.
- 6
AI Slides, Sheets and Docs
Separate agents produce slide decks, spreadsheets and documents. Plus and Pro include a weekly Free Quota that covers Standard-mode tasks in them at no credit cost.
- 7
Reusable skills
A workflow can be saved as a skill by asking Super Agent to save it, then run again in later conversations and shared with a team.
- 8
A 3.2 GPA, above 49 of 51
That is against the other AI agents we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.
- 9
Keep it
To replace Genspark you would be making an AI agent, with the models and the safeguards behind it. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

The report card
Best for one agent for research, slides, sheets and docs
Genspark is an AI workspace built around Super Agent, which plans a job and hands back research, a slide deck, a spreadsheet or a document, on the web, desktop, both phones and Chrome. Everything is metered in credits: the free plan's 100 a day stop once a lifetime allowance of unstated size is used, and monthly credits don't carry over. Plus is $24.99 billed monthly, the next step is Pro at $199.99, and Claw on a cloud computer is a separate subscription.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | C | Plus is $19.99 a month only if you pay $239.99 up front; monthly it's $24.99, which is the middle of the pack here. For that you get 10,000 credits, 50 GB and a weekly Free Quota. The next personal step is Pro at $199.99, and Team is $35 a seat. |
| Free plan and trial | C | 100 credits a day, with a catch: the daily refill stops for good once a lifetime allowance is used up, and the listing can't say how big that allowance is. Free for a while, then not. |
| Features | A | Super Agent plans a job and finishes it in its own cloud sandbox with a real browser and filesystem, and separate agents turn out slides, sheets and docs. On top of that, 37 connectors, workflows saved as skills, meeting notes, dictation, and Claw answering you in WhatsApp or Telegram. Few rivals bundle that much. |
| Ease of use | A | 4.7 from about 4,300 App Store ratings, above most tools in this category. You type what you want and the agent gets on with it. What you'll have to learn is credits, and which tasks the weekly Free Quota covers. |
| Platforms and integrations | A | Web, desktop apps for Mac, Windows and Linux, iPhone, Android and a Chrome extension, with 37 connectors including Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Notion, Salesforce and GitHub, and Claw reachable in WhatsApp, Slack or Telegram. That's every device type on the listing. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Genspark is for
- Fits if you want a deck, a spreadsheet or a report back from one prompt
- Works for teams of 2 to 150 who want credits per seat on one bill
Who it is not for
- Tight if you're staying free, because the 100 daily credits stop once a lifetime allowance runs out
- Skip it if metered plans annoy you, as monthly credits reset each billing period and don't carry over
- Pricey if Plus isn't enough, since the next personal plan up is Pro at $199.99 a month billed yearly
- Watch out: Team is $35 a seat, billed monthly by card only; invoices mean an Enterprise contract
- Watch out: running Claw on a cloud computer needs a separate Cloud Computer subscription
Good to know
Good for
- Turning a prompt into slides, spreadsheets or documents
- Multi-step research and analysis handed to an agent
- Teams of 2 to 150 that want per-seat credits with central billing
Worth knowing
- Free accounts get 100 credits a day only until a lifetime allowance is used up, after which the daily refill stops.
- Monthly credits reset each billing period and do not carry over; separately purchased top-up credits are valid for 3 months.
- Team is billed monthly by credit card only and covers 2 to 150 seats; larger organizations, or those that need invoicing, take an Enterprise contract.
- Running Genspark Claw on a cloud computer requires a separate Cloud Computer subscription.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
To replace Genspark you would be making an AI agent, with the models and the safeguards behind it. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.
It is one of the better ones too: its GPA of 3.2 is higher than 49 of the 51 other AI agents we grade. It costs $239.88 a year.
What you could make
- Documents: an app builder makes this well.
What you could not
- An AI agent, with the models and the safeguards behind it.
- A library of papers and sources to search.
- A spreadsheet engine with its formulas.
- An AI model, which you can rent by the request but not make.
- A bot that joins your calls and turns the talk into notes.
- A slide editor.
- Apps for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android that stay in step with each other.
- It plugs into other products, Gmail, Outlook and Slack among them.
- What a company asks for before it lets staff use something: roles and permissions.
- Sharing with other people, which means accounts and invitations.
- The depth: we grade its features A, which means it covers the whole job.
What this rests on. Genspark’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
