Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
1.8
GPA, above 0 of the 43 other habit trackers we grade
Life Reset is a self-improvement app for iPhone and Android built around a 66-day habit program. An onboarding questionnaire generates a personal program, and its daily tasks become quests that earn XP, levels and streaks, with an optional Hard Mode, seasonal leaderboards and mini tools such as a focus timer and a screen blocker. The store listings say a subscription is required to unlock all features.
To get you started, here are 8 things to know about Life Reset, taken from its own pages and our grades.
- 1
Best for a strict 66-day habit program that plays like a game
A program can't be paused, and the iOS app is iPhone-only.
- 2
What it costs
Paid plans start at $12.99 (lowest Full Access in-app purchase; billing period not shown).
- 3
It runs on 2 platforms
iOS and Android.
- 4
66-day custom program
An onboarding questionnaire produces an assessment and a habit program built around your goals. Tasks can be added or deleted later, and their intensity, frequency and schedule adjusted.
- 5
Daily quests, XP and streaks
Completing daily tasks earns XP and levels. A day counts toward the streak once at least two tasks are done, and streak milestones run from 7 to 132 days.
- 6
Hard Mode
An optional strict mode: a missed day sends you back to Day 1, the program cannot be edited, skipping a task carries a penalty and one skip day is allowed.
- 7
A 1.8 GPA, above 0 of 43
That is against the other habit trackers we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.
- 8
Keep it
The plain part of Life Reset you could make: habit tracking, Pomodoro timer, mood tracking and daily notes. What surrounds it you could not. The 5 things listed below take a company, not a weekend.

The report card
Best for a strict 66-day habit program that plays like a game
Life Reset is a 66-day program, not an open-ended tracker: it turns daily tasks into quests with XP, levels and streaks, with a Hard Mode that sends you back to Day 1 after a missed day. Nothing is free and there's no trial, the program starts only once you subscribe, and the App Store lists prices from $12.99 to $59.99 with no billing periods. A program can't be paused, and the iOS app is iPhone-only.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | D | The lowest amount on record is $12.99, nearly four times this category's $3.33 middle, and the store lists seven unlabelled Full Access items up to $59.99 with no billing periods. The site publishes nothing. Finish 70% of the tasks and you can claim the money back. |
| Free plan and trial | F | Nothing free and no trial on record. The store listings tie every feature to a subscription, and the 66-day program doesn't even begin until you've paid. The money-back offer needs you to finish the program first, so it isn't a way to try it. |
| Features | C | On record: a program built from a questionnaire, quests with XP and levels, Hard Mode, Character Mode with boss fights, seasonal leaderboards, friends by invite code, a focus timer, a screen blocker and AI meditation. But the listing names the gap: a program can't be paused, only restarted from Day 1. |
| Ease of use | A | 4.71 on the App Store from about 12,500 ratings, which clears our A bar. Answer the onboarding questionnaire and it writes the 66 days for you. |
| Platforms and integrations | C | Phones only, and the App Store lists the iOS app as iPhone-only, so not even an iPad. No web or desktop version, and Apple Health is the only thing it connects to. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Life Reset is for
- Fits if you want a fixed 66-day plan written for you from a questionnaire
- Works for people who are moved by XP, levels and leaderboards
Who it is not for
- Skip it if you want to try before paying, as there's no free version and no trial on record
- Not for you if you need to pause for a holiday, because a program can only be restarted from Day 1
- Pricey if you just want to tick off a few habits, with prices starting at $12.99 and no billing period shown
- Watch out: the store lists seven unlabelled Full Access items and a second Rise set, and the site shows no prices
- Skip it if you want an iPad, web or desktop version, as the iOS app is iPhone-only
Good to know
Good for
- People who want a fixed 66-day program rather than an open-ended tracker
- Those motivated by game mechanics such as XP, levels and leaderboards
- Anyone who wants strict rules, including penalties for missed days
Worth knowing
- A subscription is required: the store listings tie every listed feature to one, and the 66-day program begins only once you subscribe.
- The vendor's site publishes no prices; the US App Store lists Full Access at amounts from $12.99 to $59.99 without billing periods.
- The App Store lists the iOS app as iPhone-only, and there is no web or desktop version.
- A program cannot be paused once started, only restarted from Day 1, and in-app purchase charges are generally non-refundable.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
The plain part of Life Reset you could make: habit tracking, Pomodoro timer, mood tracking and daily notes. What surrounds it you could not. The 5 things listed below take a company, not a weekend.
That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 43 of the 43 other habit trackers grade higher.
What you could make
- Habit tracking, Pomodoro timer, mood tracking and daily notes: an app builder makes these well.
What you could not
- Blocking that reaches every browser and app and is hard to switch off.
- A real app for iOS and Android. Something home-made would be a web page.
- AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
- Hooks into the device itself: widgets.
- Sharing with other people, which means accounts and invitations.
What this rests on. Life Reset’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
