Make refunds and cancellation
Ordinary · checked Oct 18, 2026
No money comes back. The agreement says subscription fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable once you order, and the help centre repeats it as a no cash refund policy. What you get instead is a clean exit: an owner or admin ends it in the Subscription tab, nothing more is charged, and the plan runs to the end of the cycle before dropping to Free. You can also pause it rather than leave. That is the ordinary deal.

The Master Services Agreement says subscription fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable once services are ordered, and that fees and taxes are due up front at purchase. The help centre's page on changing a subscription states the same in plainer words: Make has a no cash refund policy. Unused credits are converted to a discount on an upgrade, or carried over on a downgrade, rather than refunded.
Stated on make.com- How to cancel Make
A paid subscription is cancelled in the Subscription tab under My Plan, by an owner or admin only: you open Org in the sidebar, click Cancel subscription, give a reason, pick which team to keep if the Free plan would not hold them all, and confirm. Make sends a confirmation email, and the page says you can reverse it with Renew subscription. The same tab offers to pause the subscription instead.
- Open Org in the left sidebar, then the Subscription tab in My Plan
- In the Manage section, click Cancel subscription
- Give a reason for cancelling and read the features you will lose, then click Continue
- If you have more than one team, choose the single team to keep on the Free plan, then click Continue
- Confirm that you understand you will have one organization on the Free plan, and click Cancel subscription
- What you keep afterwards
Nothing is charged for the next period and the paid plan runs to the end of the billing cycle or the annual term, after which the organization moves to the Free plan with its standard 1,000 credits a month. Unused credits are not carried over. If you already own another free organization, the cancelled one is left unlicensed and cannot run scenarios until a plan is added. Your account and login stay.
Stated on help.make.com- Renewals
The agreement says that unless you tell Make before a charge that you want to cancel or do not want to auto-renew, the subscription renews automatically for the same period as the original purchase and the card on file is charged without notice, except where the law requires one. If every payment method is declined, access is cut until you supply a new one.

In your favour
- You end it yourself in the Subscription tab, with nobody to write to and no notice period.
- The paid plan runs to the end of the cycle or the annual term before anything changes.
- You can pause the subscription for a chosen period instead of cancelling outright.
- Your account and login survive, and the organization simply moves to the Free plan.
Watch out for
- Fees are non-refundable once ordered, so a year paid up front is a year spent.
- Unused credits are not carried over to the Free plan, and credits expire at the end of the term.
- The agreement says renewals are charged without notice unless the law requires one.
- Only an owner or admin can cancel, and a second cancelled organization is left unlicensed.
Getting help from Make
Ordinary · checked Oct 18, 2026
A ticket form you have to sign in to reach, a large documentation site, a busy community forum and a free academy. That is a reasonable spread, but not one page we could read says when anyone answers or how long a ticket takes, and the only mention of round-the-clock help sits in the enterprise pitch. Documentation plus a form with no stated wait is where most tools sit.
Ways to get help
Contact form or ticket
A support ticket, linked as Contact support from the help centre's header. The page asks you to sign in to a Make account before the form appears, so it could not be read without one.
Stated on help.make.comHelp centre
The help centre covers the basics, scenarios, connections, errors and their fixes, AI agents, organizations and teams, the whole subscription and billing section, and profile settings. It is open to anyone without signing in.
Stated on help.make.comCommunity or forum
The Make Community, a public forum linked from the help centre, where users ask questions, share scenarios and answer each other. Reading it needs no account.

Its pages do not say.
- What depends on your plan
The pricing page's enterprise section is the only place that mentions round-the-clock help, describing critical process automation with 24/7 support. The page's plan-by-plan feature grid would not load for our reader, so what support each paid tier gets could not be read.

In your favour
- The documentation is large and detailed, with whole sections on errors and on billing.
- The community forum is active and readable without an account.
- A free academy sits beside the docs for people learning the product.
Watch out for
- No page we could read states hours or a reply time for a ticket.
- You have to sign in before you can even see the support form.
- There is no live chat with an agent and no phone number on the public pages.
- The only mention of 24/7 help is in the enterprise pitch, not against a priced plan.
What these two grades rest on. Read on 18 October 2026: Make's Master Services Agreement, the help-centre pages on cancelling, pausing and changing a subscription, on monthly and annual billing and on deleting a profile, the pricing page's FAQ, and the Make Community. Make's site turns plain readers away, so the pricing page was read in a browser, and its feature grid did not load. Nobody here cancelled a plan or contacted its support. They are graded apart from the five that make the GPA. How we grade refunds and support.
