Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.0
GPA, above 5 of the 39 other rank trackers we grade
Rankinity is a web-based rank tracker that checks where a site ranks for chosen keywords in Google (desktop and mobile), Google Maps, Bing and Yandex, by country, region or city. Instead of plans it bills for each keyword check made, from a prepaid balance, after a free allowance of 300 checks a month. It adds visibility scores, competitor tracking, white-label accounts and an API.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Rankinity, taken from its own pages and our grades.
You set up projects, places and check schedules, and since every check costs money, it pays to plan how often each keyword really needs one.
- 1
Best for paying only for the rank checks you actually run
It covers Google, Google Maps, Bing and Yandex by city.
- 2
Paid plans start at $25.11 a month
As its pricing page puts it: $25.11 per month for 100 keywords checked 30 times, pay as you go.
- 3
There is a free plan
300 keyword checks a month with the same tracking, visibility and competitor tools, but without the fastest check speed. No credit card needed.
- 4
It runs on Web
Web.
- 5
Rank checks by location
Tracks Google desktop and mobile, Google Maps, Bing and Yandex, with the location set at city, region or country level.
- 6
Scheduled or manual checks
Run checks by hand or on a schedule: any days of the week, or the first day of each month, at a set time.
- 7
Visibility score
A single visibility figure across all keywords, by keyword group or for each page, with keyword weights that change how the score is worked out.
- 8
A 2.0 GPA, above 5 of 39
That is against the other rank trackers we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.

The report card
Best for paying only for the rank checks you actually run
Rankinity is a web rank tracker with no plans: you top up a balance and pay about $0.0084 a check, with 300 free checks a month. It covers Google, Google Maps, Bing and Yandex by city. There's nothing on SERP features or AI answers, saving results-page links is an add-on, there's no store app or ready-made integration, and daily checks on a long list add up fast.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | C | Its own calculator puts 100 keywords checked 30 times a month at $25.11, pay as you go from a balance that never expires. That's in the middle of what rank trackers charge. Check weekly instead and it's far less; the only discount is above 30,000 checks a month. |
| Free plan and trial | C | A free version that never runs out, with no card and the same tracking, visibility and competitor tools, just slower checks. But 300 checks a month is 10 keywords checked daily, a cap you'll hit. |
| Features | C | Google desktop and mobile, Google Maps, Bing and Yandex by city, region or country, with schedules, a visibility score, competitors and reports. The gaps: nothing on SERP features or AI answers, and saving every results-page link is an add-on. |
| Ease of use | C | No rating on record. You set up projects, places and check schedules, and since every check costs money, it pays to plan how often each keyword really needs one. |
| Platforms and integrations | C | It runs in the browser on desktop and phone as a web app, with no store app. There's an API, but no ready-made integrations are listed. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Rankinity is for
- Fits if you check rankings weekly or monthly and don't want a fixed plan
- Works for agencies wanting the service on their own domain and brand
Who it is not for
- Pricey if you check a big keyword list every day, as every check is billed
- Skip it if you want AI Overviews or SERP features tracked, as neither is on its pages
- Not for you if you want rankings piped into Looker Studio or Analytics without coding
- Tight if you stay free, as 300 checks a month is 10 keywords checked daily, at a slower speed
- Watch out: the only volume discount is above 30,000 checks a month, by contacting the company
Good to know
Good for
- Sites that check rankings weekly or monthly and want to pay only for the checks made
- Agencies that want white-label reports on their own domain
- Tracking rankings in Bing, Yandex or Google Maps as well as Google
Worth knowing
- There are no fixed plans: each keyword check costs about $0.0084, so daily checks on large keyword lists add up quickly.
- The free version stops at 300 checks a month, which covers 10 keywords checked daily.
- The pricing page offers a volume discount only above 30,000 checks a month, by contacting the company.
- It is a progressive web app that runs in the browser on desktop and phone; there is no app-store app.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
The plain part of Rankinity you could make: reports. What surrounds it you could not. The 3 things listed below take a company, not a weekend.
That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 31 of the 39 other rank trackers grade higher. It costs $301.32 a year.
What you could make
- Reports: an app builder makes this well.
What you could not
- Daily checks of where your pages rank in search results.
- An API that other software can build on.
- Sharing with other people, which means accounts and invitations.
What this rests on. Rankinity’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
