Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.4
GPA, above 41 of the 83 other technical SEO tools we grade
Redirect.pizza is a hosted redirect service: you point a domain's DNS at it, and it serves the redirects with HTTPS certificates it issues and renews itself. It is aimed at domain migrations, mergers, parked domains and apex-to-www setups, and answers from a global edge network. Plans are priced by the number of source hostnames.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Redirect.pizza, taken from its own pages and our grades.
You add hostnames and change each domain's DNS to point at it, then set rules; certificates are issued for you.
- 1
Best for hosted domain redirects with HTTPS
Past simple forwarding, the bill climbs quickly.
- 2
Paid plans start at $14.95 a month
As its pricing page puts it: $14.95 per month for 15 hostnames, billed monthly.
- 3
There is a free plan
5 source hostnames, 250,000 requests a month, 10 path rules and 1 team member, with automatic HTTPS and the API. No analytics.
- 4
It runs on Web
Web.
- 5
Automatic HTTPS
SSL certificates are issued and renewed for every source hostname, so redirects work over HTTPS, including apex domains pointed with an A record.
- 6
Path and query forwarding
Keep the original path and query string on the destination URL, with 301, 302, 307 and 308 redirect types on every plan.
- 7
Regex and dynamic destinations
From Pro, match paths with regular expressions and send traffic to different destinations by rules you set.
- 8
A 2.4 GPA, above 41 of 83

The report card
Best for hosted domain redirects with HTTPS
Redirect.pizza serves redirects for domains you point at it, issuing and renewing their HTTPS certificates, and the free plan covers 5 hostnames and 250,000 requests a month. Free and Basic stop at one team member with no regex rules, analytics start at Basic, and SSO and the firewall wait on Business at $219 a month. Past simple forwarding, the bill climbs quickly.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | C | Basic is $14.95 a month for 15 hostnames, or $161 a year billed annually. That's just above this category's cheaper quarter of $13 and under its $29 middle. Regex rules and wildcard subdomains need Pro at $55. |
| Free plan and trial | B | A free plan with 5 source hostnames, 250,000 requests a month, 10 path rules, automatic HTTPS and the API, enough for one person moving a few domains. No analytics, and one team member. |
| Features | C | Automatic HTTPS, path and query forwarding with 301, 302, 307 and 308, regex and dynamic destinations from Pro, analytics from Basic, an API, MCP and Terraform, and email forwarding from Pro. It does hosted redirects fully, but that's a smaller job. |
| Ease of use | C | No rating on record. You add hostnames and change each domain's DNS to point at it, then set rules; certificates are issued for you. |
| Platforms and integrations | B | Web, with an API on every plan, an MCP server, a Terraform provider and Zapier. No desktop or phone app. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Redirect.pizza is for
- Fits if you're retiring or merging domains and need them forwarded over HTTPS
- Works for sending a bare domain to its www address without running a server
Who it is not for
- Tight if you stay free, with no analytics, 10 path rules and one team member
- Pricey if you need regex rules, wildcard subdomains or email forwarding, which start at $55 a month on Pro
- Not for you if you need SAML SSO or a firewall, which need Business at $219 a month
- Watch out: Basic caps traffic at 1 million requests a month, prices exclude VAT, and your location sets the currency
- Watch out: phone support and invoiced billing are Enterprise only, from 1,000 hostnames
Good to know
