Part 01 · Overview

Welcome

What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first

2.8

GPA, above 19 of the 26 other AI app builders we grade

Rocket generates web apps, landing pages and mobile apps from a chat prompt, producing Next.js code for the web and Flutter code for iOS and Android. Alongside the builder it has Solve, which writes sourced research reports on a business question, and Intelligence, which monitors competitors and sends daily briefs. Plans charge a flat monthly platform fee with unlimited team members, and one credit balance pays for all three.

To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Rocket, taken from its own pages and our grades.

Web apps land on a staging URL before they go live.
From our grade for ease of use
  1. 1

Best for market research and the app build in one place

Rocket builds the app and researches whether anyone wants it: Build turns a prompt into a Next.js web app or a Flutter phone app, Solve writes sourced research reports, and Intelligence tracks competitors.

  2. 2

Paid plans start at $25 a month

As its pricing page puts it: $25 per month, billed monthly (Pro); 20% less with yearly billing.

  3. 3

    You can try it first

Free plan: 20 one-time credits with no time limit and no card required. The credits do not renew.

  4. 4

    It runs on 3 platforms

    Web, iOS and Android.

  5. 5

    Build: prompt-to-app generation

Describe an app in chat and Rocket generates a Next.js web app or a Flutter mobile app, which can then be changed through chat, visual editing or the code view.

  6. 6

    Solve research reports

Solve answers a business or market question with a structured, sourced report. Free and Pro get Light Solve; Full Solve needs the Rocket or Booster plan.

  7. 7

    Intelligence competitor monitoring

Follows chosen companies across nine signal areas, including website changes, hiring and pricing, and delivers daily briefs. Included on Rocket and Booster.

  8. 8

    A 2.8 GPA, above 19 of 26

That is against the other AI app builders we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.

  9. 9

    Keep it

To replace Rocket you would be making a tool that builds and hosts other apps. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

The report card

Best for market research and the app build in one place

Rocket builds the app and researches whether anyone wants it: Build turns a prompt into a Next.js web app or a Flutter phone app, Solve writes sourced research reports, and Intelligence tracks competitors. Pro is $25 a month with unlimited team members. But full research and competitor tracking need the $50 plan, the free plan is 20 credits once, and canceling wipes any credits you have left.

ToolGPA report cardRocketGraded Oct 10, 2026
SubjectGradeComment
Value for moneyCPro is $25 a month, or 20% less paid yearly, putting it at the dear end of the ordinary band for builders here against a $19 middle. It's 100 credits a month with unlimited team members on one flat fee. Full Solve research and Intelligence need the $50 Rocket plan.
Free plan and trialCTwenty credits, once, with no time limit and no card wanted. They never refill, so it's a trial rather than a plan, and custom domains and downloading your project as a .zip need paying for anyway.
FeaturesAIt covers the whole job: a Next.js web app or a Flutter app for both phones, edited by chat, visual editing or code, with 26+ connectors, GitHub sync and store-ready builds. Then Solve writes sourced research reports and Intelligence sends daily competitor briefs, which no rival here does.
Ease of useBNo rating on record, but there's nothing to set up: describe the app in chat, then change it by chat, by clicking around or in the code view. Web apps land on a staging URL before they go live.
Platforms and integrationsBWeb, iPhone and Android, with no desktop app listed, and that's what holds it to a B. It connects to GitHub, Supabase, Stripe, Figma, Netlify, Notion, Linear and Airtable, and the docs list more than 26 services you can wire in from a prompt.
Grade point averageGood, out of 4.02.8

An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.

Who Rocket is for

  • Fits if you're a founder who wants the market research and the build in one product
  • Works for teams, as every plan has unlimited members on a flat fee

Who it is not for

  • Not for you if you want a free plan to stay on, as the 20 free credits never refill
  • Pricey if the research is the draw, since Full Solve and Intelligence start at $50 a month
  • Skip it if you might cancel with credits left, because unused ones, add-ons included, expire at the end of the billing cycle
  • Watch out: custom domains and downloading your project as a .zip need a paid plan
  • Tight if you want a desktop app, as only web, iPhone and Android are listed

Good to know

Good for

  • Founders who want market research and the app build in one product
  • Teams that want unlimited members on a flat platform fee
  • Building a Next.js web app and a Flutter mobile app from prompts

Worth knowing

  • The Free plan is a one-time grant of 20 credits that does not refill each month.
  • Full Solve reports and competitor Intelligence need the Rocket plan at $50 a month or Booster; Pro has Light Solve only.
  • Custom domains and downloading the project as a .zip file need a paid plan.
  • Canceling a plan makes all unused credits, including purchased add-ons, expire at the end of the billing cycle.

Part 04 · Standing

Where it stands

Its grades against its category, and whether to keep it or make your own

19/26

Other AI app builders it is graded above

Rocket's GPA of 2.8 is higher than 19 of the 26 other AI app builders we grade, and level with 5.

It stands best on features (A, above 25 of 26) and worst on free plan and trial (C, above 1).

Its paid plans start at $25 a month, against a middle price of $19 for the category: 20 of the 26 others that charge start lower.

On features, ease of use and platforms it scores 3.3 out of 4. 1 tool scores higher and costs less.

Keep it, or make your own?

Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.

Keep it

To replace Rocket you would be making a tool that builds and hosts other apps. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

It is one of the better ones too: its GPA of 2.8 is higher than 19 of the 26 other AI app builders we grade. It costs $300 a year.

What you could not

  • A tool that builds and hosts other apps.
  • A builder that other people can use without writing code.
  • An AI agent, with the models and the safeguards behind it.
  • A library of papers and sources to search.
  • A real app for iOS and Android. Something home-made would be a web page.
  • It plugs into other products, GitHub, Supabase and Stripe among them.
  • The depth: we grade its features A, which means it covers the whole job.

What this rests on. Rocket’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
