Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
1.6
GPA, above 0 of the 83 other technical SEO tools we grade
RUMvision is a Dutch real-user monitoring service for Core Web Vitals. A JavaScript snippet collects anonymous performance data from every visit, scores each page template and third-party script, flags regressions after a release and compares your figures with competitors' CrUX data. Plans are sold in euros and priced by monthly pageviews and domains.
To get you started, here are 8 things to know about RUMvision, taken from its own pages and our grades.
- 1
Best for real-user monitoring for large online shops
RUMvision collects Core Web Vitals from every visit, scores each page template and third-party script, and checks every release for regressions.
- 2

As its pricing page puts it: €150 per month for 1.5M pageviews on 2 domains, billed monthly.
- 3

- 4
Real-time Core Web Vitals
Field data appears within hours of a deploy instead of after Search Console's 28-day window, with UX scores per page template and per metric.
- 5
Automated release checks
Checks every release for layout shifts, lazy-loading mistakes, slow interactions and bfcache problems, opening issues that close once fixed.
- 6
Third-party script scores
Rates each third-party script, such as consent tools, heatmaps and chat widgets, as Good, Moderate or Poor by its measured effect on visitors.

The report card
Best for real-user monitoring for large online shops
RUMvision collects Core Web Vitals from every visit, scores each page template and third-party script, and checks every release for regressions. But it's sold in euros from €150 a month before VAT with no smaller plan, its pricing page shows no free plan or trial, and monitoring stops when the month's pageviews run out.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | D | Growth is €150 a month before VAT, about $175, for 1.5M pageviews on 2 domains, or €1,620 a year. That's in this category's dearest tenth, which starts at $99, and about six times its $29 middle. With no smaller plan, one modest site pays the same €150. |
| Free plan and trial | F | Nothing free: the pricing page shows no free plan and no free trial. The setup call comes with a paid plan. |
| Features | C | Real-time RUM by template, automatic release checks, third-party script scores, 45+ dimensions, CrUX competitor charts, an MCP server and an API. It does real-user monitoring fully, but that's one part of technical SEO, with no lab tests or crawling. |
| Ease of use | C | No rating on record. A JavaScript snippet goes on your site, and with 45+ dimensions there's a fair amount to learn; Growth includes a setup call. |
| Platforms and integrations | B | Web only, with Google Tag Manager, Shopify, Magento, Slack, Cloudflare, Fastly, Akamai and AWS CloudFront listed, plus an API and an MCP server. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who RUMvision is for
- Fits if you run a large Shopify or Magento shop with millions of pageviews a month
- Works for EU companies that want RUM without a cookie consent banner
Who it is not for
- Pricey if your site is small, as the floor is €150 a month before VAT, and PayPal adds a 3.4% fee
- Skip it if you want to try it first, as the pricing page shows no free plan or trial
- Watch out: monitoring stops for the rest of the month at the pageview limit, unless autoscaling at €25 more per million is on
- Tight if you outgrow Growth, as extra domains are €20 a month each and prepaid pageviews €75 per million
- Not for you if you want lab tests as well, as it measures real visits only
Good to know
Good for
- Large e-commerce sites on Shopify or Magento chasing Core Web Vitals
- EU companies that want RUM without a cookie consent banner

Worth knowing
- Prices are in euros, exclude VAT and start at €150 a month; the pricing page shows no free plan or free trial.
- Monitoring stops for the rest of the month once the pageview limit is reached, unless autoscaling (at €25 more per million than prepaid) is turned on.
- Extra domains cost €20 a month each and extra prepaid pageviews €75 per million a month.
- PayPal payments carry a 3.4% processing fee.

Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
The plain part of RUMvision you could make: reports. What surrounds it you could not. The 4 things listed below take a company, not a weekend.
That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 79 of the 83 other technical SEO tools grade higher. It costs $2,017.08 a year.
What you could make
- Reports: an app builder makes this well.
What you could not
- Speed tests run from real browsers on a schedule.
- It plugs into other products, Google Tag Manager, Shopify and Magento among them, and has an API.
- AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
- Hooks into the device itself: widgets.
What this rests on. RUMvision’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
