Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.8
GPA, above 40 of the 51 other AI agents we grade
Skywork is an AI workspace where a prompt is turned into finished output: slide decks, documents and research reports, spreadsheets, images, videos and websites. Its SkyClaw agent runs in the cloud on long-running and scheduled tasks and can be reached from chat apps such as Discord, Telegram and WhatsApp, and capabilities are packaged as reusable Skills. It is offered on the web, as a Windows desktop app and on iPhone and Android, on a credit-based subscription.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Skywork, taken from its own pages and our grades.
No rating on record, but there's nothing to set up: you type what you want and it hands back the deck or the report.
- 1
Best for turning a brief into slides, docs and sheets
On Basic the shared agent queues at busy times, and the only desktop app is for Windows.
- 2
Paid plans start at $19.99 a month
As its pricing page puts it: $19.99 to $24.99 per month (Basic, US App Store in-app prices).
- 3
There is a free plan
Free accounts can start with system-granted free credits and limited features; the amounts are not published. Extra credit packs are sold only to subscribers.
- 4
It runs on 4 platforms
Web, Windows, iOS and Android.
- 5
SkyClaw cloud agent
An agent that works in the cloud on long-running tasks, keeps long-term memory and runs scheduled tasks. Basic shares capacity; Plus and Ultra get a dedicated, always-on instance.
- 6
Slides, documents and sheets
Generates slide decks, structured documents and research reports, and spreadsheets from a prompt, with slide-by-slide editing and paragraph-level rewriting.
- 7
Images, videos and websites
The same workspace also produces images, posters, videos with multi-track editing and full-stack websites.
- 8
A 2.8 GPA, above 40 of 51
That is against the other AI agents we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.
- 9
Keep it
To replace Skywork you would be making an AI agent, with the models and the safeguards behind it. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

The report card
Best for turning a brief into slides, docs and sheets
Skywork turns a prompt into a slide deck, a report, a spreadsheet, a video or a website, and its SkyClaw agent works on long and scheduled jobs in the cloud. Prices are murky: web prices sit behind sign-in, the App Store shows three prices for Basic, Ultra has none, and free credits come in amounts nobody publishes. On Basic the shared agent queues at busy times, and the only desktop app is for Windows.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | C | Basic runs $19.99 to $24.99 a month on the US App Store for 10,000 credits, so it spans the cheapest quarter up into the middle of what agent tools here charge. The store shows three prices for the one plan, web prices sit behind sign-in and Ultra has no public price, so mid-table is as precise as the facts allow. |
| Free plan and trial | C | There is a free account and no card needed, with credits the system grants you and some features held back. Skywork publishes none of the amounts, and extra credit packs are sold to subscribers only. A cap you'll hit, with no way of seeing it coming. |
| Features | B | It covers the whole job: slides, documents, research reports and spreadsheets from a prompt, plus images, video with multi-track editing and full-stack websites. SkyClaw runs long and scheduled jobs with memory, and VoiceNote transcribes meetings. Genspark and manus cover this ground too, so no A. |
| Ease of use | B | No rating on record, but there's nothing to set up: you type what you want and it hands back the deck or the report. Skills and chat-app connections are there if you want them, not hurdles to clear first. On Basic the shared agent queues at peak load, which is the catch. |
| Platforms and integrations | A | Web, a Windows desktop app, iPhone and Android, with connections to Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive and Outlook Calendar. Two gaps: iPhone only on iOS, and Windows only on the desktop. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Skywork is for
- Fits if you need a slide deck, report or spreadsheet from a short brief
- Works for a long or scheduled job that should run in the cloud without you
Who it is not for
- Not for you if you like clear prices, as web prices sit behind sign-in and the App Store shows three for Basic
- Skip it if you want a Mac desktop app or an iPad app, since the desktop download is for Windows and iOS is iPhone only
- Tight if you're on Basic at busy times, because the shared agent queues at peak load
- Tight if you're staying free, as the free credits aren't published and extra packs are sold to subscribers only
- Watch out: membership credits last one calendar month and bought packs 90 days, and Ultra has no public price
Good to know
Good for
- Turning a brief into a slide deck, report or spreadsheet
- Long-running or scheduled agent tasks that run in the cloud
- People who want one subscription for documents, images and video
Worth knowing
- Web prices sit behind sign-in. The prices here are US App Store in-app prices, which show three amounts for Basic.
- Usage is metered in credits: monthly membership credits last one calendar month and purchased packs 90 days.
- The Ultra plan, with 150,000 credits a month and a dedicated processing channel, has no price in the public store listing.
- The iOS app is listed for iPhone only, and the desktop download offered is for Windows.

40/51
Other AI agents it is graded above

It stands best on platforms and integrations (A, above 43 of 51) and worst on free plan and trial (C, above 9).

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
To replace Skywork you would be making an AI agent, with the models and the safeguards behind it. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.
It is one of the better ones too: its GPA of 2.8 is higher than 40 of the 51 other AI agents we grade. It costs $239.88 a year.
What you could make
- Documents: an app builder makes this well.
What you could not
- An AI agent, with the models and the safeguards behind it.
- A spreadsheet engine with its formulas.
- A library of papers and sources to search.
- A slide editor.
- Speech turned into text you can trust.
- Apps for Windows, iOS and Android that stay in step with each other.
- It plugs into other products, Discord, Telegram and WhatsApp among them.
- The depth: we grade its features B, which means it covers the whole job.
What this rests on. Skywork’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
