Typeform refunds and cancellation
Ordinary · checked Oct 18, 2026
Typeform doesn't refund. Cancel part-way through a month or a year and the help page says plainly that nothing comes back; you simply keep the plan until the prepaid period runs out. The exit itself is tidy, though: six steps in Plan & Billing, nobody to email, and your forms and every response you have collected stay put. That is the ordinary deal, so a C.

The help centre says Typeform does not issue refunds for contracts cancelled before the contracted period ends, and that you keep the paid features until the prepaid period expires. The payment terms say fees are non-refundable, subject to applicable law, and that no amount or credit is given for subscriptions cancelled before the end of the current period. Billing disputes must be raised within 30 days of purchase.
Stated on help.typeform.com- How to cancel Typeform
The help article says you cancel in your own account: open the organization menu, go to Plan & Billing, choose Cancel my plan, select the Free plan, complete a cancellation survey and confirm. Only an organization's owners and admins can change the plan. Customers on Enterprise or custom plans are told to contact their customer success manager instead.
- Log in, click the organization icon in the top left corner and go to Plan & Billing
- Click Cancel my plan
- Select the Free plan, then click Get Free to downgrade
- Review your changes and click Continue to survey
- Complete the cancellation survey and click Submit, or the account stays active
- Tick the confirmation checkbox, then click Cancel my plan
- What you keep afterwards
The help centre says your forms and previously collected responses are not deleted when the paid plan expires, and that the cancellation takes effect at the end of the prepaid period. On the Free plan, forms using paid features go into trial mode: you cannot publish them or collect further answers until you upgrade again or strip those features out, and premium themes have to come off too.
Stated on help.typeform.com- Renewals
The service terms say monthly and annual subscription periods renew automatically for a term of the same length, billed at the fee then applicable, unless you cancel the automatic renewal in the My Account section before the current period ends. A help article repeats that plans renew automatically and must be cancelled manually. No reminder before a renewal is promised.

Getting help from Typeform
Good · checked Oct 18, 2026
Everyone who pays can open a ticket, and Typeform publishes its working hours to the minute in three time zones, which few do. Live chat with a representative exists, but it starts at the Business plan, so Basic and Plus customers are on email. There's no phone line anywhere and no target reply time. Written support for all, live help for the higher plans: a B.
