Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
1.4
GPA, above 1 of the 16 other Amazon seller tools we grade
ZonGuru now sells Helix, a service that scores Amazon listings for both keyword search and Amazon's AI shopping assistant, rewrites titles, bullets, descriptions and shopper questions, publishes them to Amazon and then watches them nightly. Plans are sized by how many listings it watches and how many it rewrites a month, and it works on the US and UK marketplaces only.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about ZonGuru, taken from its own pages and our grades.
- 1
Best for rewriting Amazon listings for AI shopping
ZonGuru now sells one thing: Helix, which scores your Amazon listings for search and for Amazon's AI shopping assistant, rewrites them, publishes the new copy and watches it nightly.
- 2
Paid plans start at $124 a month
As its pricing page puts it: $124 per month, billed annually at $1,490 ($149 billed monthly).
- 3
There is a free plan
Free AI Readiness Score: a 0-to-100 read of how well a live listing answers Amazon's AI, with no card or Seller Central connection. Rewrites and monitoring need a plan or credits.
- 4
It runs on Web
Web.
- 5
AI Readiness Score
Scores every listing from 0 to 100 and ranks them by fixable gap and revenue at stake, so the most valuable fixes come first.
- 6
Listing rewrites
Rewrites titles, bullets, descriptions and shopper questions in one pass for Amazon's A9 search and its AI shopping assistant, within Amazon's 75-character title cap.
- 7
One-click publishing
Shows the before and after for approval, then publishes the new copy to Amazon and confirms it is live.
- 8
A 1.4 GPA, above 1 of 16
That is against the other Amazon seller tools we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.
- 9
Keep it
To replace ZonGuru you would be making data from Amazon's seller tools and years of sales estimates. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

The report card
Best for rewriting Amazon listings for AI shopping
ZonGuru now sells one thing: Helix, which scores your Amazon listings for search and for Amazon's AI shopping assistant, rewrites them, publishes the new copy and watches it nightly. It's US and UK only. At $124 a month for 5 rewrites, it costs more than suites that write listings alongside everything else.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | D | Graded against the suites it's listed beside. Helix Starter is $124 a month billed annually at $1,490 ($149 monthly) for 15 watched listings and 5 rewrites. Helium 10's Platinum is $99 with an AI listing builder and all its research, and extra Helix rewrites are $49 each. |
| Free plan and trial | D | The free AI Readiness Score rates a live listing from 0 to 100, with no card. It doesn't rewrite or watch anything, though, and there's no trial of Helix itself, so the free part does none of the paid job. |
| Features | D | Helix does one narrow job, listing copy: scoring, rewriting, publishing and nightly checks. Only the US and UK marketplaces are covered, and ZonGuru's older product and keyword research is gone from its pricing page. |
| Ease of use | C | No rating on record. The score needs nothing, but Helix needs a Seller Central connection on a Professional selling plan, and you approve each rewrite before it goes live. |
| Platforms and integrations | C | Web only, on the US and UK Amazon marketplaces. It connects to Seller Central, and every plan includes MCP access for Claude or another AI tool. No phone or desktop app. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who ZonGuru is for
- Handy when your listings read badly and you'd rather not rewrite them yourself
- Good for agencies looking after listings for several US or UK Amazon clients
- A treat if you like running things from Claude, since every plan has MCP access
Who it is not for
- Skip it if you sell outside the US and UK
- Pricey if you only need a few listings fixed, at $124 a month for 5 rewrites
- Not for you if you were after ZonGuru's old product and keyword research
Good to know
Good for
- Brand owners who want listings rewritten for Amazon's AI shopping assistant
- Agencies managing listings for several Amazon clients
- Sellers on Amazon US or UK with a catalog of up to 100 key listings
Worth knowing
- Helix works only on the US and UK Amazon marketplaces.
- Plans need a Seller Central connection on an Amazon Professional selling plan.
- Extra rewrites are bought as credits at $49 for one or $99 for three; credits bought this way never expire.
- ZonGuru's older product and keyword research tools are no longer on its pricing page, which now sells only Helix.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
To replace ZonGuru you would be making data from Amazon's seller tools and years of sales estimates. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.
That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 14 of the 16 other Amazon seller tools grade higher. It costs $1,488 a year.
What you could not
- Data from Amazon's seller tools and years of sales estimates.
- AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
What this rests on. ZonGuru’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
