|---|---|---|
| Value for money | APro is $3.99 a month, $9.99 a year or $24.99 once on the US App Store. The yearly price is under a dollar a month, where the typical planner is about $8. Hard to argue with. | BThe US App Store lists Pro purchases from $7.00 to $54.00 without showing which are monthly and which are yearly, and Tiimo publishes no price list. If the low figures are months, that's about typical for a planner. We can't call it better than that. |
| Free plan and trial | BThe core planner is free: tasks, the daily timeline, the Inbox, notifications and widgets. But calendar sync, repeating tasks and colors all need Pro, and a planner that can't see your calendar is a tight deal. | BFree on iPhone and Android, with the basic planner, to-do list, focus timer and 1 profile. But AI chats are limited, the web planner isn't included, and calendar integration is listed as Pro. The 7-day trial comes only with the yearly subscription. |
| Features | BA daily timeline for time blocking, an Inbox that clears out what you never schedule, calendar sync, repeating tasks and a way to block off focus time in a work calendar. Solid basics. But you can edit calendar events in Arcush, not create them. | AA drag-and-drop timeline with colours and icons, a to-do tab, a visual countdown timer, mood check-ins, and an AI Co-planner that breaks tasks into steps and guesses how long each takes. Calendars come in from Apple, Google and Outlook. The Co-planner isn't on Android, mind. |
| Ease of use | BWe have no App Store rating on record for it, so a B is as high as we go. Every task setting is on one screen, and you can add a task from a Home Screen widget. | B4.59 from about 20,600 App Store ratings, a whisker under our line for an A. You can type or just say what's on your mind and the Co-planner turns it into tasks, which is about as gentle a start as a planner gets. |
| Platforms and integrations | DiPhone only, on iOS 16 and above, syncing with the calendars on your phone. The makers say iPad, Mac and Apple Watch versions are planned and an Android app isn't. | AiPhone, Android, Mac, Apple Watch and a web planner, with Apple, Google and Outlook calendars brought in. No Windows app. The Mac version needs macOS 15 and an M1 chip or later, and the web planner needs Pro. |
| Best for | bare-bones time blocking on an iPhone | visual planning for ADHD and autistic brains |

Key features
Arcush
- Daily timeline
- Tasks sit as blocks on a timeline of the day, following the time-blocking technique, with a calendar view for planning hour by hour.
- Inbox with automatic clearing
- Ideas go into an Inbox to be scheduled later. Tasks that never get scheduled are cleared out automatically, and overdue ones can be brought back.
- Calendar sync
- With PRO, any calendar added to the iPhone's accounts can be synced. Synced events can be edited in Arcush, but new calendar events cannot be created there.
- Blocked-off focus time
- With PRO, a time slot can be reserved in a work calendar so that other people see it as taken.
- Recurring tasks and colors
- PRO adds daily, weekly and monthly repeats, plus color-coding for tasks and a choice of app colors.
- Quick add, widgets and notifications
- All task settings are on one screen, tasks can be added from a Home Screen widget, and alerts cover upcoming and overdue tasks.
Tiimo
- Visual timeline
- The day appears as a color-coded timeline with drag-and-drop tasks and custom colors and icons. The web planner adds daily, weekly and monthly views.
- AI Co-planner
- Type or speak what is on your mind and the Co-planner turns it into tasks, breaks them into steps and estimates how long each takes. Free accounts get limited AI chats.
- To-do list
- A to-do tab collects tasks that are not yet scheduled. They can be prioritized by hand or by AI suggestion, then dragged into the day.
- Focus timer
- A visual countdown for the current task. Timers and upcoming tasks also show in widgets, Live Activities and on Apple Watch.
- Calendar import
- Brings Apple, Google and Outlook calendars into the schedule, and the App Store listing also mentions Apple Reminders. Tiimo lists calendar integration as a Pro feature.
- Mood tracking and profiles
- Mood check-ins and daily reflections sit alongside the plan. Pro accounts can hold up to five profiles, for example one per family member.
