Value for money
CSolo is $29 a month for one user, with 48% off if you pay for 12 months at once. Against its listed rivals for showing a screen, Zoom's and Loom's paid plans cost less on monthly billing, and the yearly discount roughly closes that gap. Teams share 100 meetings for $99 a month.
CBusiness is $18 per user a month billed monthly, which is the top of the normal band for video tools here against a middle of $10. Annual billing saves up to 17%. The AI summaries sit a tier higher again at $24.
Free plan and trial
CA free plan you'll outgrow fast: 1 user, 15 meetings a month and 3 viewers per meeting, with recordings kept a week. Someone on sales calls all day will use up 15 meetings in a few days. Solo has a free trial with no card.
CStarter is free and includes transcriptions in 50+ languages, but it stops at 25 videos per person, 5-minute screen recordings and 720p. Those are caps you reach, not caps you forget about.
Features
CIt does sales screen sharing fully: viewing with no download on any phone, recordings with tracked plays, Instant Demos callbacks and CRM connectors. But it's a smaller job than this category's. It can't reach anyone else's computer, and handing over control works for one viewer from Windows or Mac.
CIt does the record-and-send job fully: capture, transcripts, captions, comments, reactions, viewer insights. But that's a smaller job than an editor's, and Loom's own listing calls its editing basic, trimming and stitching with a few overlays.
Ease of use
BNo App Store rating on record. The prospect taps a link and sees your screen in a browser, with no install and no sign-up, which is the whole point. Your side runs in the browser with an extension.
A4.81 from 19,101 App Store ratings. Record from the desktop app, the Chrome extension or your phone and what comes out is a link, with nothing for the viewer to install.
Platforms and integrations
BIt runs in the browser with an extension, and viewers can join from any device, phone included. It connects to Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, HighLevel and Zapier, but there's no desktop app, so B is its ceiling.
AMac, Windows, iPhone, Android and a Chrome extension, with ties to Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Workspace, Salesforce and Figma. Only the lack of a Linux app spoils it.

  • Handing remote control to a viewer works only for presenters on Windows or macOS, and only with one viewer at a time.

Loom

  • The free Starter plan is capped at 25 videos per person, 5-minute screen recordings and 720p quality.
  • Auto-summaries, auto-chapters and filler-word removal need Business + AI or Enterprise.
