Marblism vs Motion

Marblism

• Solo founders and small businesses without admin or marketing staff
• Owners who run several businesses from one account
• Teams that want one flat price instead of per-seat billing

Motion

• People who want tasks placed on the calendar automatically
• Teams that want tasks, projects, docs and meeting notes in one app
• Deadline-driven work that needs frequent re-planning

Marblism

• There is no free plan or free trial; new subscriptions come with a 7-day money-back guarantee instead.
• Each plan includes 50 hours of AI work a month. Advanced actions use them up, and more hours are sold as top-ups.
• Paying month to month costs $44 a month, against $24 a month on the yearly option.
• SAML SSO and SCIM are not available; Marblism says both are on its roadmap.

Motion

• There is no free plan. A card is required for the trial, and Motion's terms say purchases are non-refundable.
• One person pays more than a team seat: Pro AI is $29 a month billed annually for an individual, against $19 per seat for teams.
• AI use is metered: 7,500 credits per seat a month on Pro AI and 15,000 on Business AI, with extra credits charged per 100.
• Gantt charts, time tracking, capacity planning and permissions are limited to Business AI.

Marblism

Eva, executive assistant

Filters and labels incoming mail, drafts replies in your voice for you to send, manages the calendar, and joins Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls to take notes.

Sonny, social media manager

Writes posts, generates matching photos and short videos, and publishes to Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook from a content calendar you can review first.

Stan, lead generation

Searches a database of more than 700 million leads, sends personalized email from your own inbox and LinkedIn connection requests, follows up, and books meetings.

Penny, SEO writer

Finds keywords, writes articles on a schedule you set and publishes them to WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or Wix, with site audits and rank tracking.

Rachel, phone receptionist

Answers calls around the clock on a dedicated phone number, books appointments, takes messages and can transfer a call to your own line.

Walter and Linda

Walter builds a website from a prompt, edits it by chat and connects a custom domain. Linda drafts contracts, reviews agreements and flags risky clauses.

Motion

Automatic scheduling

A scheduling engine places tasks into openings on your calendar based on duration, priority and deadlines, and rebuilds the plan as the day changes.

Tasks and projects

Tasks sit inside projects and workspaces, and AI can draft a project and its tasks from a description. Timelines and Gantt charts need Business AI.

Calendar sync

Connects Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook (Office 365 and Exchange Online) and iCloud Calendar. The iCloud connection has a more limited feature set.

Booking links

A shareable link lets other people book meetings based on your real-time availability. You set rules for availability, duration, buffers and limits.

AI Notetaker

Captures transcripts from video calls and drafts summaries and action items, which you approve before they become tasks.

AI Chat and Docs

A chat interface creates items and searches workspace data, and collaborative docs include AI drafting. AI use draws on the plan's monthly credits.
