Brevo refund policy
Brevo states a refund policy with no set window, and you cancel in your own settings.
Brevo refunds and cancellation
Ordinary · checked Oct 18, 2026
No money comes back. Brevo's terms say a subscription can't be cancelled before the current period ends and that prepaid or unused fees aren't refunded. The exit is still painless on the ordinary plans: one page in your account, credits usable to the end of the period, and nothing deleted when you drop to Free. A three-month pause is a nice touch if you just need a breather. Standard terms, handled decently, so a C.

- No set window
- How you cancel
- Yourself, in settings
- Getting your money back
The terms of use say the terms are non-cancellable by you before the end of your ongoing subscription and that Brevo will not provide refunds for any prepaid or unused fees. The same applies if Brevo closes an account for breach: no refund of prepaid fees or unused quotas. No page read offers a money-back window of any length.
Stated on brevo.com- How to cancel Brevo
A paid plan is cancelled from the My plan page in the account dropdown, where Cancel subscription sits at the bottom; only the account owner or a user allowed to manage plan and billing can reach it. A paused subscription has to be resumed before it can be cancelled. Brevo says a yearly Professional plan cannot be cancelled there and needs a support ticket instead.
- Click the account dropdown and select My plan
- If the subscription is paused, resume it first, or cancelling is blocked
- At the bottom of the page, click Cancel subscription
- Choose No, cancel my subscription rather than the offer to pause for up to three months
- Select a reason for cancelling and add any details you are asked for
- Click Yes, I want to cancel my subscription
- What you keep afterwards
The account is downgraded to the Free plan at the end of the billing period, and remaining credits can be used until then with no further charge. Brevo says cancelling deletes no data: forms, templates and contacts stay, but features not on Free are restricted and automations are limited to 2,000 contacts. A Free account is deleted automatically unless you log in every four months.
Stated on help.brevo.com- Renewals
The terms say monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically on the anniversary of the first payment, for a term equal to the last one, unless you close the account or give notice of termination before the renewal date. On the Professional plan that notice must be in writing and given at least 15 calendar days ahead. No reminder before a renewal is mentioned, and bought seats renew with the subscription.

In your favour
- You cancel yourself on the My plan page, and the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
- Cancelling deletes nothing: your forms, templates and contacts follow you down to the Free plan.
- Need a breather rather than an exit? A monthly subscription can be paused for up to three months.
- Change your mind and Remove scheduled changes calls the cancellation off before the period ends.
Watch out for
- No refunds for prepaid or unused fees, and the terms rule out cancelling mid-period.
- On Professional, non-renewal has to be in writing and at least 15 calendar days before the date.
- A yearly Professional plan can't be cancelled on the page at all: you have to raise a ticket.
- Back on Free you must log in every four months or Brevo deletes the account automatically.
Getting help from Brevo
Good · checked Oct 18, 2026
Anyone with an account can raise a ticket from inside Brevo, in six languages, and there's a large help centre and a public community behind it. A phone line exists, but only if you're on Professional or Enterprise, and only on weekdays. Nothing states how long a ticket takes, only that someone will reply as soon as possible. A live channel kept for the dearer plans, with tickets for everyone else, is a B.

The pricing page lists email support from the customer care team, in six languages, as a Starter feature carried up the plans. Professional adds phone support and three hours a year with a deliverability specialist. Enterprise adds tailored onboarding and CSM support. In your favour
- Any account holder can raise a ticket from inside Brevo, with no plan threshold stated.
- Support is offered in six languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and German.
- There's a route in for people locked out or without an account, through the website's form.

Watch out for
- No reply time is stated anywhere: tickets are answered as soon as possible, and that's all it says.
- Phone support means Professional or Enterprise, and weekdays only.
- Brevo puts developer-level work, custom code and advanced API questions outside its support scope.
- Cancelling a plan doesn't cancel a dedicated IP; that needs a separate ticket.
What these two grades rest on. Read on 18 October 2026: Brevo's terms of use, its help articles on cancelling a subscription and on contacting the support team, the support rows and FAQ on its pricing page, and the help centre's Submit a request form. Nobody here cancelled a plan or contacted its support. They are graded apart from the five that make the GPA. How we grade refunds and support.
