Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.6
GPA, above 15 of the 15 other email verification and deliverability tools we grade
DeBounce cleans email lists: it validates files in bulk, checks sign-ups in real time through an API or a JavaScript form widget, and imports lists straight from email platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot and Klaviyo. It also finds names behind addresses and can recheck a list every month. It does not warm up inboxes or manage DMARC. Credits are sold in packs that never expire, from $15 for 5,000.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about DeBounce, taken from its own pages and our grades.

The report card
Best for the cheapest pack for cleaning a list
DeBounce cleans lists and checks sign-ups, with a WordPress plugin and imports straight from Mailchimp, HubSpot and Klaviyo. It's the cheapest of the list cleaners for 10,000 checks, at $25, and the credits never expire. Catch-all checks cost 10 credits each, though, and there's no warm-up or DMARC.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | B | $25 for a one-off 10,000 checks, taxes included, and the credits never expire. That's the cheapest among its listed rivals: Clearout is $32 a month billed yearly, MillionVerifier $39, Bouncer and Emailable $60 and ZeroBounce about $129. |
| Free plan and trial | C | No free plan, but 100 free credits with no card. Enough to test a sample of your list, not to clean it. |
| Features | C | It does the checking job fully: bulk files, an API and form widget, catch-all checks, name lookups and monthly list rechecks. That's a smaller job, though: no warm-up, placement tests or DMARC, and catch-all checks cost 10 credits each. |
| Ease of use | B | No App Store rating on record, but nothing to set up: upload a list or import it from a connected email platform, and duplicates are removed free before checking. |
| Platforms and integrations | B | Web, an API and a JavaScript widget, with Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, Google Sheets, SendGrid, a WordPress plugin and Zapier. No phone or desktop app. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.

Good for
- Small senders who need a cheap first pack

- Hooks into the device itself: widgets.
