Ways to spend less on Elicit
Switch Premium PDF parsing off after the tricky paper
Its usage page says Premium PDF parsing works on every PDF, not just the hard ones, and eats into your monthly pool. Turn it on for the awkward paper, then off again under Advanced in Account Settings. Figure extraction costs more too, so leave it off unless you need it.
support.elicit.comMake a review's usage go further with abstracts and Fast screening
A systematic review uses more the longer the PDFs, the more columns you add and whether you screen full texts. Screen abstracts where that's enough, pick Fast over Thorough when you can, and keep columns simple. Edits and re-runs count as new usage.
