Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.8
GPA, above 13 of the 19 other lead and email finders we grade
GetProspect finds and verifies work email addresses, and some phone numbers, from a B2B contact database, from LinkedIn and Sales Navigator through a Chrome extension, or from an uploaded list. Found contacts go into a built-in contact manager with lists and folders, and a cold email tool sends sequences to them. Plans are priced by the number of valid emails found each month, and team members share the credits.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about GetProspect, taken from its own pages and our grades.

The report card
Best for LinkedIn emails with a free plan to start on
GetProspect finds emails on LinkedIn and Sales Navigator, keeps them in a small built-in CRM and sends cold email sequences. Team members share the credits, so five of you share Starter at $49 a month, or $34 on a yearly plan. Phone numbers are scarce, though: 5 a month.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | A | Starter is $49 a month billed monthly, shared by the team: about $9.80 a head for five, well under this category's cheaper quarter ($34). That buys 1,000 valid emails, 2,000 verifications and 5 phone numbers a month. |
| Free plan and trial | C | A free plan with 50 valid emails and 100 verifications a month, the LinkedIn extension, CRM integrations and the API, with no card. Good for a trickle, not a campaign. |
| Features | C | A LinkedIn extension, a database with 17-plus filters, a bulk finder, a verifier, reverse lookup, a built-in CRM and cold email. The gap its own listing shows: just 5 phone numbers a month on the paid plans. |
| Ease of use | B | No App Store rating on record, but the extension sits on the LinkedIn and Sales Navigator you already use and pulls emails from a search in one go. |
| Platforms and integrations | B | Web and a Chrome extension, with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Outreach, Salesloft, Zapier and Google Sheets, plus an API. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who GetProspect is for
- Great if you prospect on LinkedIn and Sales Navigator
- Handy when you want a free plan that keeps going while you get started
- Good for small teams finding, storing and emailing leads in one place
Who it is not for
- Skip it if you need phone numbers, with just 5 a month on the paid plans
- Tight if your usage swings, since leftover credits roll over one month at most
- Not for you if you want to pay yearly and know how the credits arrive, as its own pages disagree
Good to know
Good for
- Prospecting on LinkedIn and Sales Navigator
- Small teams that want a usable free plan to start
- Finding, storing and emailing leads in one tool
Worth knowing
- Starter and Growth include only 5 phone numbers a month; more phone credits are sold as a separate monthly add-on.
- Monthly credits roll over for one month only, capped at one month's allowance; yearly plans carry nothing into the next year.
- Pages disagree on yearly plans: the pricing FAQ says credits renew monthly, the help center says the whole year arrives upfront.
- Extra email verifications are sold as packs that never expire, from $29 for 10,000.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
To replace GetProspect you would be making newsletters sent to thousands of people that still reach the inbox. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.
It is one of the better ones too: its GPA of 2.8 is higher than 13 of the 19 other lead and email finders we grade. It costs $588 a year.
What you could not
- Newsletters sent to thousands of people that still reach the inbox.
- It plugs into other products, HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive among them, and has an API.
- Sharing with other people, which means accounts and invitations.
What this rests on. GetProspect’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
