How we grade them
| 2.8GPAGetProspectGood | 2.8GPAHunterGood | |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | AStarter is $49 a month billed monthly, shared by the team: about $9.80 a head for five, well under this category's cheaper quarter ($34). That buys 1,000 valid emails, 2,000 verifications and 5 phone numbers a month. | AStarter is $34 a month billed yearly for the whole team, about $6.80 a head for five, under 60% of this category's cheaper quarter ($34). That buys 2,000 credits a month, shared: an email found costs 1, a check 0.5. |
| Free plan and trial | CA free plan with 50 valid emails and 100 verifications a month, the LinkedIn extension, CRM integrations and the API, with no card. Good for a trickle, not a campaign. | CA free plan with 50 credits a month that reset, basic filters, 1 email account and unlimited team members. Fine for a taste, but 50 lookups won't last a working week. |
| Features | CA LinkedIn extension, a database with 17-plus filters, a bulk finder, a verifier, reverse lookup, a built-in CRM and cold email. The gap its own listing shows: just 5 phone numbers a month on the paid plans. | CDomain search, an email finder and verifier, a lead database, cold email sequences, an API and an MCP server. It does the email job fully, but that's a smaller job: the pricing page lists no phone lookups. |
| Ease of use | BNo App Store rating on record, but the extension sits on the LinkedIn and Sales Navigator you already use and pulls emails from a search in one go. | BNo App Store rating on record, but this is about as simple as the category gets: type a company domain and the addresses come up, or click the extension on the site you're on. |
| Platforms and integrations | BWeb and a Chrome extension, with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Outreach, Salesloft, Zapier and Google Sheets, plus an API. | BWeb, Chrome and Firefox extensions and a Google Sheets add-on, with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Zapier and Clay, plus an API. No desktop or phone apps. |

Worth knowing

- Extra email verifications are sold as packs that never expire, from $29 for 10,000.
Hunter
- Hunter finds email addresses only; the pricing page lists no phone number lookups.
- Credits reset monthly and do not roll over on monthly billing; yearly billing grants the whole year's credits upfront.
- Extra connected email accounts cost from $10 a month each on Starter and Growth.
- API-only access is sold separately as the Data Platform, with bulk credits usable for 12 months.
