lemlist refunds and cancellation

CGrade

No refunds, and lemlist says so in plain words: unused fees for a month or a year already started do not come back, not even pro rata. What you do get is a clean exit. You cancel yourself in the settings, you keep every paid feature until the period you paid for runs out, and your campaigns and leads stay in the account afterwards. That is the ordinary deal, so it is a C.

Getting your money back

The terms say you may end a paid plan at any time but that lemlist will not refund any unused fees for a month or year already begun, even on a prorated basis, and that planning when the termination takes effect is your responsibility. They add that the fixed Minimum Annual Fee is non-cancelable and non-refundable for any reason unless stated otherwise, and that no prepaid fees are refunded when an account ends.

How to cancel lemlist

An admin cancels from inside the app: Settings, then Billing & Users, then Manage in the Subscription section, then Cancel on the current plan. The help article says the button is greyed out for anyone who is not an admin and while an invoice is unpaid, and that the Enrichment credits add-on is a separate subscription that has to be cancelled on its own from the credits panel.

  1. Log in, click your profile in the bottom-left corner and select Settings
  2. In Team settings, select Billing & Users
  3. Click Manage in the Subscription section for your current plan
  4. In the plan selection window, click Cancel on your current plan
  5. Confirm the cancellation when prompted, and give feedback if you want to
  6. Check the confirmation message for the date your plan ends
  7. If you also hold a lemwarm subscription, choose to cancel that too during the same flow
  8. Cancel the Enrichment credits add-on separately from the credits panel, under Buy more credits

What you keep afterwards

Paid features run to the end of the billing cycle, then the account drops to a free plan. Campaigns, leads, templates and past analytics are kept and stay visible, and lemlist says it deletes no data on cancellation. What stops is sending campaigns, lemwarm warming, the CRM integrations, the AI features and premium support. Deleting the account is a separate request to the privacy team.

Renewals

The terms say a paid subscription is payable monthly or annually in advance and renews automatically on the same basis until it is ended. No page read mentions a reminder before a renewal, and no page offers a refund after one. The help article on cancelling says a cancellation only stops the next renewal, and can be undone with an Undo cancellation button at any point before the period ends.

In your favour

  • You cancel it yourself from the settings in a couple of minutes, with nobody to write to.
  • Everything you paid for keeps working until the end of the billing cycle you are in.
  • Your campaigns, leads and templates stay in the account on the free plan, and lemlist says it deletes nothing.
  • Change your mind before the period ends and an Undo cancellation button puts the plan back.

Watch out for

  • No refunds at all: unused months or years already started are gone, pro rata included.
  • The fixed Minimum Annual Fee in the terms is described as non-cancelable and non-refundable.
  • Plans renew by themselves and no page promises a reminder first, so diarise the date.
  • The credits add-on keeps billing after you cancel the main plan: it has to be cancelled on its own.

Getting help from lemlist

CGrade

Ordinary · checked Oct 18, 2026

You can always get a message to lemlist: there is a chat widget inside the app and a help centre that is genuinely good on billing. What no page puts a number on is the answer. No hours, no target reply time, no phone, and the only stated difference is that Enterprise gets a named account manager and priority. That is where most software sits, so it is a C.

Ways to get help

  • Help inside the app

The website's FAQ says the support team is a click away through the in-app chat once you have signed up. No page read gives the widget's hours, and none says whether a bot answers first.

  • Account manager

The plan guide says Enterprise customers get an assigned account manager and priority support, alongside unlimited guest seats and SSO. Enterprise is annual only with a minimum of 5 seats.

  • Help centre

An Intercom-hosted help centre in English, French, German and Spanish, with sections on billing and users, campaigns, deliverability, integrations and troubleshooting, open without signing in.

What depends on your plan

The plan guide says an assigned account manager and priority support come with Enterprise. The article on cancelling lists premium support and priority assistance among the things an account loses when it drops to the free plan. The plan comparison table on the pricing page would not open for our reader, so the support rows on the other plans could not be read.

In your favour

  • The in-app chat widget reaches the support team rather than a form you post into the dark.
  • The help centre is unusually thorough on billing, with step-by-step articles on cancelling and on data.
  • Help articles are offered in French, German and Spanish as well as English.
  • Enterprise buyers get a named account manager and priority support.

Watch out for

  • No page states the chat widget's hours, so there is no telling when anyone is at the other end.
  • No page states a target reply time, on any plan.
  • Priority support is tied to the plan, and the free plan loses it altogether.
  • Some billing jobs, such as switching between plan families, can only be done by writing to support.

What these two grades rest on. Read on 18 October 2026: lemlist's terms and conditions, its help articles on cancelling a subscription, on cancellation, data retention and account deletion, on the plans and on choosing between them, the help centre home and the website's own FAQ. The plan comparison table on the pricing page did not render for our reader, so its support rows were not read. Nobody here cancelled a plan or contacted its support. They are graded apart from the five that make the GPA. How we grade refunds and support.
