Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.6
GPA, above 15 of the 24 other presentation tools we grade
Pitch is a presentation workspace in which teams build slides together from a blank canvas, a template or an AI prompt. Decks are shared as links rather than files, and on paid team plans those links report visits, slide views and time spent on each slide. A free plan covers up to five members, and paid plans are priced per seat.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Pitch, taken from its own pages and our grades.
No App Store rating on record, and the deck is still yours to build, with roles and teamspaces to set up for a team.

The report card
Best for team decks you send as tracked links
Pitch is a slide app for teams that build decks together and send them as links, and on Team those links report visits, slide views and time per slide. That tracking starts at $19 a seat a month, Plus at $13 covers only one person, US prices run above other countries', and the free plan keeps Pitch branding on every download and share link.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | D | Plus is $13 a seat a month paying yearly and covers one person, above the $12.99 dear quarter here. Worse, the tracked links that are the whole reason to pick Pitch start at Team, $19 a seat, nearly twice the $9.99 middle. US rates also run above the 10, 15 and 20 charged elsewhere. |
| Free plan and trial | B | Free with no time limit for 1 to 5 members, with unlimited presentations, custom templates and basic sharing links, which a small team could work on. The catches: Pitch branding stays on downloads and share links, there are 2 guests, and the 100 AI credits never refill. |
| Features | B | Covers the whole job: a full slide editor with templates and AI, several people editing at once and assigning slides to each other, links that report visits and time per slide, pitch rooms for clients, an API and an MCP connector. Advanced links and rooms start at Team. |
| Ease of use | C | No App Store rating on record, and the deck is still yours to build, with roles and teamspaces to set up for a team. You can start from a template or an AI prompt, and you send a link instead of attaching a file. |
| Platforms and integrations | A | Web, Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android, the full set. On top of that Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, Loom and Zapier, an API for building decks from other systems, and an MCP connector on every plan. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Pitch is for
- Fits if you send sales decks and want to see whether they were opened and which slides were read, on Team
- Works for up to 5 people on the free plan, if Pitch branding on links and downloads is fine
Who it is not for
- Pricey if link tracking is the point, since it starts at Team, $19 a seat a month paying yearly or $23 monthly
- Tight if you're on your own and might add a colleague: Plus covers one seat, so two people means Team
- Not for you if a small company needs SSO, as SAML SSO and SCIM are Enterprise only, from 30 seats
- Tight if you lean on the AI while staying free, with 100 credits that don't renew and 2 guests
- Watch out: US prices of $13, $19 and $25 sit above the 10, 15 and 20 a seat charged in euros, pounds and elsewhere
Good to know
Good for
- Sales and marketing teams that send decks as tracked links
- Teams that co-edit slides and assign them to each other
- Small teams: the free plan covers up to 5 members
Worth knowing
- Plus covers a single seat; a workspace with more than one member has to use Team or Business.
- Prices depend on billing country: the US rates here are above the euro, pound and rest-of-world dollar rates of 10, 15 and 20 per seat a month on yearly billing.
- Free-plan AI credits are a one-time 100, and removing Pitch branding from downloads and share links needs a paid plan.
- Advanced links, pitch rooms and workspace roles start at Team; SAML SSO and SCIM are Enterprise only, which needs at least 30 seats.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
The plain part of Pitch you could make: templates. What surrounds it you could not. The 6 things listed below take a company, not a weekend.
It costs $156 a year.
What you could make
- Templates: an app builder makes this well.
What you could not
- A slide editor.
- Apps for macOS, Windows, iOS and Android that stay in step with each other.
- Several people working in it at the same moment.
- It plugs into other products, Slack, Notion and HubSpot among them, and has an API.
- AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
- The depth: we grade its features B, which means it covers the whole job.
What this rests on. Pitch’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
