Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.8
GPA, above 17 of the 20 other cold outreach tools we grade
Salesforge sends cold email and LinkedIn sequences from any number of connected mailboxes, rotating between them, with unlimited email warm-up included. AI writes a first email for each contact from their LinkedIn profile or website, and replies from every mailbox land in one inbox called Primebox, where AI tags their sentiment and drafts answers. It is one of several Forge products, alongside an AI SDR, a lead search engine and mailbox infrastructure, each sold separately.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Salesforge, taken from its own pages and our grades.
Pro is for one person, so a team goes to Growth, and plenty of extras are separate Forge products.
- 1
Best for AI-written first emails from many mailboxes
Replies land in Primebox, where AI tags the mood and can draft answers.
- 2
Paid plans start at $40 a month
As its pricing page puts it: $40 per month, billed annually ($48 billed monthly).

- 5
Unlimited mailboxes and warm-up
Connect as many mailboxes as you need, warm them all up at no extra cost, and let Salesforge rotate sending across mailboxes and IP addresses.
- 6
AI-written first emails
AI writes a unique opening email per contact from one source such as their LinkedIn profile (1 credit) or from every source in Overdrive mode (2 credits).
- 7
Email and LinkedIn sequences
Sequences mix emails with LinkedIn profile views, connection requests and messages, paid for with social action credits.
- 8
A 2.8 GPA, above 17 of 20
That is against the other cold outreach tools we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.
- 9
Keep it
To replace Salesforge you would be making newsletters sent to thousands of people that still reach the inbox. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

The report card
Best for AI-written first emails from many mailboxes
Salesforge sends email and LinkedIn sequences from as many mailboxes as you connect, with warm-up included and AI writing a different opening email for each contact. Replies land in Primebox, where AI tags the mood and can draft answers. Pro is for one person, so a team goes to Growth, and plenty of extras are separate Forge products.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | A | Pro is one user, so five people need Growth, which has unlimited users: $80 a month billed annually, $16 a head. That's under 60% of the cheaper quarter's $32.50, though AI writing and LinkedIn actions draw on monthly credits. |
| Free plan and trial | C | No free plan. The 14-day trial gives 50 contacts, 100 emails and one LinkedIn profile, enough to see the AI writing but not a real campaign. |
| Features | B | The whole job: email and LinkedIn sequences with profile views, requests and messages, unlimited mailboxes with warm-up and rotation, AI-written first emails and Primebox for replies. Multi-language sequences, A/B tests and AI reply drafts need Growth. |
| Ease of use | C | No App Store rating on record. Mailboxes and domains to connect, often bought from separate Forge products, and credits to keep an eye on before sending. |
| Platforms and integrations | B | Web only, with HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, Clay, Make, folk and Claude, plus an API, an MCP server and a command-line tool on Growth. No phone or desktop app on record. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Salesforge is for
- Great if you want AI to write a different first email for each contact
- Handy when you send from lots of mailboxes and want warm-up included
- Good for small teams sharing Growth with no per-person charge
Who it is not for
- Tight if you're on Pro, with 1 user and 1 LinkedIn profile
- Pricey if you want the AI SDR, which is $499 a month billed annually on top
- Skip it if you want mailboxes and domains on the same bill, as they're separate products
Good to know
Good for
- Senders running many mailboxes who want warm-up included
- Teams that want AI to write a different first email for each contact
- Agencies that need separate workspaces for each client
Worth knowing
- Pro is limited to 1 user and 1 LinkedIn profile; the API, A/B testing, CRM integrations and multi-language sequences need Growth.
- AI writing, email validation and LinkedIn actions use monthly credits; a Primebox AI draft costs 3, and extra credits are bought in the app.
- Agent Frank, the AI SDR, is a separate subscription from $499 a month billed annually ($599 billed quarterly), plus contacts, set up after a demo.
- Mailboxes and domains come from separate Forge products such as Mailforge and Infraforge, each with its own subscription.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
To replace Salesforge you would be making newsletters sent to thousands of people that still reach the inbox. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.
It is one of the better ones too: its GPA of 2.8 is higher than 17 of the 20 other cold outreach tools we grade. It costs $480 a year.
What you could not
- Newsletters sent to thousands of people that still reach the inbox.
- An AI agent, with the models and the safeguards behind it.
- It plugs into other products, HubSpot, Salesforce and GoHighLevel among them, and has an API.
- The depth: we grade its features B, which means it covers the whole job.
What this rests on. Salesforge’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
