Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.2
GPA, above 5 of the 74 other calendar and scheduling apps we grade
Skej provides AI scheduling assistants from 3Gen Internet Corporation in New York. You CC an assistant such as Lexy on an email thread and it proposes times, follows up, reschedules and sends the invite, with no humans involved. It also offers a booking link where the assistant chats with the invitee on the page. The free plan keeps one booking link, and the email assistant needs a paid plan after a short trial.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Skej, taken from its own pages and our grades.
- 1
Best for CC'ing an AI assistant to book your meetings
Skej gives you a named AI assistant you CC on an email: it proposes times, chases people who don't reply and sends the invite.
- 2
Paid plans start at $15 a month for each person
As its pricing page puts it: $15 per user / month, billed annually ($19 billed monthly).
- 3
There is a free plan
Free Forever: 1 booking link that checks 1 calendar, a daily agenda and event reminders. The email assistant is only a 7-day trial with 3 free meetings.
- 4
It runs on Web
Web.
- 5
Email assistant
CC your assistant on any email thread and it finds times, books the meeting and later handles reschedules, changes and cancellations. Paid plans only.
- 6
Booking link with live chat
A booking page where the assistant can chat with the invitee to settle on a time. Free Forever includes 1 link; paid plans have unlimited links.
- 7
Assistant personalities
Choose from 12 named assistants, each with its own tone, such as Lexy or Hubert. Creating a custom assistant needs the Premium plan.
- 8
A 2.2 GPA, above 5 of 74
That is against the other calendar and scheduling apps we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.
- 9
Keep it
To replace Skej you would be making an AI agent, with the models and the safeguards behind it. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

The report card
Best for CC'ing an AI assistant to book your meetings
Skej gives you a named AI assistant you CC on an email: it proposes times, chases people who don't reply and sends the invite. That's all it does. The free plan loses the assistant after a 7-day trial with 3 meetings, Pro is $15 a user a month with every team member billed, custom assistants need Premium at $23, and there's no phone app.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | C | Pro is $15 a user a month billed annually, $19 monthly. Against the AI assistants it lists as rivals, Howie at $25 and Clara at $80, that's lower; against plain booking tools at $10 it's higher. Each team member is billed separately, and Premium is $23. |
| Free plan and trial | C | Free Forever keeps 1 booking link that checks 1 calendar, plus a daily agenda and reminders. The email assistant, the reason you came, is a 7-day trial with 3 meetings. No credit card for that, at least, but a week is a week. |
| Features | C | The assistant books, reschedules, cancels and chases by email, and the booking link can chat with whoever's booking. It does that one job fully, and it is a small job: no calendar of your own, Teams messaging is still marked coming soon, and custom assistants need Premium. |
| Ease of use | C | No store rating on record. You CC the assistant on an email thread, but first you connect a Google or Microsoft calendar and set working hours, buffers, daily limits and holidays. |
| Platforms and integrations | B | It reaches you through email, text, WhatsApp and Slack, with a web dashboard behind it, and connects to Google and Microsoft calendars, Gmail, Zoom, Google Meet and Teams. No mobile or desktop apps are listed. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Skej is for
- Fits if you'd rather CC an assistant on an email than send someone a booking link
- Works for people who book lots of outside meetings, such as sales reps, recruiters and investors
Who it is not for
- Tight if you're staying free, because the email assistant ends after the 7-day trial and 3 meetings
- Pricey if you want your own custom assistant or Bcc mode, which need Premium at $23 a user a month
- Pricey if you're a team, since every invited member is billed and the whole team upgrades together
- Not for you if you want a phone or desktop app, as it works through email, messages and a web dashboard
- Watch out: messaging through Microsoft Teams is still marked coming soon
Good to know
Good for
- People who would rather CC an assistant than send a booking link
- Sales reps, recruiters and investors booking many external meetings
- Calendly users who want a booking page that can chat with invitees
Worth knowing
- After the 7-day trial the free plan has no email assistant: it keeps 1 booking link, a daily agenda and event reminders.
- Custom assistants and Unsupervised (Bcc) Mode need Premium at $23 per user / month billed annually.
- The listed price is per user: each invited team member is billed separately, and the whole team upgrades as a unit.
- Skej works through email, text, WhatsApp and Slack plus a web dashboard; no mobile or desktop apps are listed.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
To replace Skej you would be making an AI agent, with the models and the safeguards behind it. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.
That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 57 of the 74 other calendar and scheduling apps grade higher. It costs $180 a year.
What you could not
- An AI agent, with the models and the safeguards behind it.
- Booking pages that read and write other people's calendars and send the emails.
- It is priced for each person, which means accounts and billing for a team.
- It plugs into other products, Google Calendar, Microsoft Calendar and Gmail among them.
What this rests on. Skej’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
