Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.2
GPA, above 12 of the 51 other AI agents we grade
Viktor is an AI agent that a team installs in Slack or Microsoft Teams and addresses like a colleague. It connects to business tools such as Stripe, HubSpot, GitHub and Google Ads, then returns finished work: reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, code changes and deployed web apps, with recurring jobs run on a schedule. Pricing is per workspace rather than per seat, based on a monthly pool of shared credits.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Viktor, taken from its own pages and our grades.
Ask for the weekly revenue numbers and it pulls them from Stripe or HubSpot and returns the report or dashboard.

27 native integrations with full read and write access, including Stripe, GitHub, Linear and Notion, plus more than 3,200 tools through managed connectors.
- 7
Finished deliverables

Keep it
To replace Viktor you would be making an AI agent, with the models and the safeguards behind it. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

The report card
Best for an AI colleague inside Slack or Teams
Viktor is an agent you add to Slack or Microsoft Teams. Ask for the weekly revenue numbers and it pulls them from Stripe or HubSpot and returns the report or dashboard. It's one price per workspace from $50 a month, but there's no app of its own, the free $100 of credits is a one-time grant, every scheduled run spends credits, and per-user spend caps are Enterprise only.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | D | Plans start at $50 a month for 20,000 credits, exactly where the dearest tenth of agent tools here begins, against a $21.25 middle. It's one price for the whole workspace with no per-seat charge, so split five ways it reads better; for one or two people it's steep. Scheduled jobs spend credits every run. |
| Free plan and trial | C | No free plan that renews. You get up to $100 in credits, once, with every feature and integration, no card needed, and they never expire. That's still a cap you'll hit, and then it's $50 a month. |
| Features | B | It covers the whole job: queries your tools, analyses the data and hands back PDFs, spreadsheets, reports and dashboards rather than instructions. Recurring jobs run on a schedule, it deploys internal web apps with a database and login, and it'll open a pull request with a fix. Runbear and tasklet do the same, so no A. |
| Ease of use | C | No rating on record. You install it from the Slack App Directory and mention it in a thread, but it can't answer anything until someone connects Stripe, HubSpot, GitHub or whatever the question needs, with read and write access. That's the real setup. |
| Platforms and integrations | B | It lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams and nowhere else, with no standalone desktop or phone app on the site. Connections lift it to B: 27 native integrations with read and write, including Stripe, GitHub, Linear and Notion, and 3,200+ more through managed connectors. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Viktor is for
- Fits if your team already works in Slack or Microsoft Teams
- Works for teams that pull the same report from ads, billing and CRM tools every week
Who it is not for
- Skip it if you don't use Slack or Teams, because there's no standalone desktop or phone app
- Not for you if you want a free plan that renews, as the $100 of credits is a one-time grant
- Pricey if you're one or two people, since the workspace price starts at $50 a month
- Watch out: scheduled automations spend credits on every run, so frequent jobs push the monthly bill up
- Tight if you need per-user spend caps or invoicing, which are kept for Enterprise at a custom price
Good to know
Good for
- Teams that already work in Slack or Microsoft Teams
- Recurring reports pulled from ads, billing and CRM tools
- Small companies that want internal tools built without engineers
Worth knowing
- Viktor is used through Slack or Microsoft Teams; its site lists no standalone desktop or mobile app.
- The free allowance is a one-time $100 in credits rather than a recurring free plan.
- Everything runs on workspace credits, including scheduled automations, so frequent jobs raise the monthly cost.
- Per-user spend caps, invoicing and custom billing terms are reserved for Enterprise.
Part 02 · Tips
Insider tips
What most people miss: ways to pay less, settings worth changing and the catches
7
Things most people miss, each from its own help pages
The things about Viktor that are easy to miss until they cost you: ways to pay less, settings worth changing and the catches at renewal or when you leave. Each one is from Viktor’s own pages, linked beside it.
Read on Oct 17, 2026. Read from Viktor's docs (scheduled tasks, running out of credits, approvals, chat commands, managing a subscription, data and privacy) and its pricing page on 17 October 2026. Not tried out: these tips are what its own pages say.
- 1
Pay less
Ask for a script task when a scheduled job needs no thinking
Its docs say a script task runs Python directly and costs zero credits, while an AI task spends credits every run. For the AI ones, ask for the balanced model on routine work, or cheap for runs nobody reads, instead of the default smart.
viktor.com - 2
Setting
Turn on auto top-ups with a spend limit before credits run out
When credits run out, Viktor pauses the request and only picks it up again if credits come back within 8 hours. Under Billing, Auto top-ups, you set the amount, the trigger and a monthly cap. One-off top-ups cost more per credit than your plan does.
viktor.com - 3
Setting
Click Always approve this tool on the cards you keep approving
Some actions always wait for a person to click Approve. For a single integration tool, the card in Slack has an Always approve this tool button, so later calls run without asking. In Teams there's no such button: change it in the Viktor app.
viktor.com - 4
Shortcut
Type !stop, !mute, !fast or !deep in a thread
!stop halts what Viktor is doing in a Slack thread and drops queued replies. !mute, or a chequered flag reaction on its message, keeps it quiet until someone mentions it. !fast and !deep run one reply on the workspace's fast or deep model.
viktor.com - 5
Renewal
Cancelling only stops the next renewal, and you can take it back
An admin cancels under Billing, Manage, Cancel subscription, and finishes in the Stripe portal. The plan stays active until the date shown and can be reactivated before then. Annual plans are gone: change an old one and it can only become monthly.
viktor.com - 6
Leaving
If the last admin deletes their account, the whole workspace goes
Its privacy page says the last admin deleting their account removes every team member and all the workspace's contents, cancels the subscription and deletes scheduled tasks for good. Add a second admin before anyone tidies up their account.
viktor.com - 7
Privacy
Viktor only reads the Slack messages the person asking can see
Its docs say reads in Slack are limited to what the person asking can see, and runs with no person behind them never read DMs. Each person's files and run logs stay apart from teammates, but admins can see credits spent by each person.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
To replace Viktor you would be making an AI agent, with the models and the safeguards behind it. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.
That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 29 of the 51 other AI agents grade higher. It costs $600 a year.
What you could make
- Reports: an app builder makes this well.
What you could not
- An AI agent, with the models and the safeguards behind it.
- Connections to other products, each kept working as those products change.
- A tool that builds and hosts other apps.
- The depth: we grade its features B, which means it covers the whole job.
What this rests on. Viktor’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
