Value for money
APremium is $5.99 a month on the US App Store, with a year listed at $19.99 and again at $49.99, and a one-time "forever" purchase at $49.99. Nobody explains the two yearly prices. Even the dearer one is about half the typical planner.
BThe US App Store lists Pro purchases from $7.00 to $54.00 without showing which are monthly and which are yearly, and Tiimo publishes no price list. If the low figures are months, that's about typical for a planner. We can't call it better than that.
Free plan and trial
BThe full 144-block planner, weekly reports, widgets, notes, Google Calendar sync and the web app are free. But you're capped at 8 activities, 5 tasks in each, 3 templates and 3 months of analytics.
BFree on iPhone and Android, with the basic planner, to-do list, focus timer and 1 profile. But AI chats are limited, the web planner isn't included, and calendar integration is listed as Pro. The 7-day trial comes only with the yearly subscription.
Features
APlan or log the day in ten-minute blocks, save a day as a template, run Pomodoro and Flow timers that log themselves, and see 90 days of stats with CSV export. Each activity has its own to-dos and notes. For block planning, it's all here.
AA drag-and-drop timeline with colours and icons, a to-do tab, a visual countdown timer, mood check-ins, and an AI Co-planner that breaks tasks into steps and guesses how long each takes. Calendars come in from Apple, Google and Outlook. The Co-planner isn't on Android, mind.
Ease of use
BWe have no App Store rating on record for it, so a B is as high as we go. You select blocks and assign an activity to them, and a day you've built once can be reused as a template.
B4.59 from about 20,600 App Store ratings, a whisker under our line for an A. You can type or just say what's on your mind and the Co-planner turns it into tasks, which is about as gentle a start as a planner gets.
Platforms and integrations
AiPhone, iPad, Android and a web app that syncs with your phone, and Google Calendar events can be turned into blocks. There's no separate Mac or Windows app, so on a computer it's the browser.
AiPhone, Android, Mac, Apple Watch and a web planner, with Apple, Google and Outlook calendars brought in. No Windows app. The Mac version needs macOS 15 and an M1 chip or later, and the web planner needs Pro.

Key features

Blocos

Blocks Planner
The day is shown as 144 ten-minute blocks. Selecting blocks and assigning an activity plans or logs that time, and Google Calendar events can be converted into blocks.
Templates and week planning
A day designed once can be saved as a template and applied to other days, and activities can be scheduled in bulk across a week.
Pomodoro and Flow timers
Activity timers with adjustable focus and break lengths, alarms and notifications. Time measured by a timer is logged in the planner automatically.
Statistics
Charts and tables break time down by activity over the past 90 days, with custom filters and CSV export. Planner history keeps every change for review.
Focus Seasons
Structured challenges of 4 to 16 weeks with daily activity targets, weekly progress tracking and an end-of-season review. A Premium feature.
To-do lists and notes
Each activity holds its own tasks, with priorities and reminders, and its own notes. Tasks with a start date appear in the Blocks Planner.

Tiimo

Visual timeline
The day appears as a color-coded timeline with drag-and-drop tasks and custom colors and icons. The web planner adds daily, weekly and monthly views.
AI Co-planner
Type or speak what is on your mind and the Co-planner turns it into tasks, breaks them into steps and estimates how long each takes. Free accounts get limited AI chats.
To-do list
A to-do tab collects tasks that are not yet scheduled. They can be prioritized by hand or by AI suggestion, then dragged into the day.
Focus timer
A visual countdown for the current task. Timers and upcoming tasks also show in widgets, Live Activities and on Apple Watch.
Calendar import
Brings Apple, Google and Outlook calendars into the schedule, and the App Store listing also mentions Apple Reminders. Tiimo lists calendar integration as a Pro feature.
Mood tracking and profiles
Mood check-ins and daily reflections sit alongside the plan. Pro accounts can hold up to five profiles, for example one per family member.
