Blocos
Time-blocking planner built on 144 ten-minute blocks
What is Blocos?
Blocos is a time-blocking app that lays each day out as 144 ten-minute blocks. You select blocks and assign activities to them, either to plan ahead or to log what you did, and can then compare the plan with what actually happened. Templates, Pomodoro and Flow timers, per-activity to-do lists and notes are built in, and Google Calendar events can be turned into blocks. It runs on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web. The free plan caps activities and templates, and Premium removes the limits.
Blocos has a free plan. Paid plans start at $5.99 per month, or $19.99 to $49.99 per year (US App Store). See every plan
Good for
- People who want to see the whole day as a grid of short blocks
- Comparing how time was planned with how it was actually spent
- People with ADHD who want to see time laid out visually
Worth knowing
- The free plan is capped at 8 activities, 5 tasks per activity, 3 templates, one timer per activity and 3 months of analytics history.
- The website shows no prices and says plans depend on location and currency. The US App Store lists two yearly amounts, $19.99 and $49.99, without explaining them.
- Focus Seasons needs Premium, and subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play.
- There is no separate Mac or Windows app. On a computer Blocos is used through the web app, which syncs with the phone app.
