Value for money
APro is $47.99 a year, about $4 a month, which is half the typical planner. Paying monthly is $7.99, so the year is the one to pick. Those are US prices.
AThe one clearly labelled price is Premium for a year at $26.49, when a typical planner asks about $7.99 every month. There's also a Lifetime Membership at $19.99. The App Store lists Premium at $39.99 and $59.99 too, without saying what term each covers, and the website has no price list.
Free plan and trial
BFree gives you 5 tasks a session, 2 focus sessions a day, 3 soundscapes and 7 days of history. Enough to see if it suits you. Not enough for a full working day, since two sessions go fast.
BFree to download with timeline blocks, routines, calendar import and notifications. But unlimited routines and unlimited calendars are Premium, and the listings don't say how many you get before that. Advanced notifications and statistics are Premium too.
Features
BA timed day plan from your tasks and estimates, long tasks split into blocks with named resets, a finish time that updates as you go, and 13 soundscapes. It does that one job fully. But the site describes no calendar sync or links to other task apps.
BIt's built for one job, time blocking, and covers it: blocks by the hour or minute with icons and tags, drag to reschedule, routines that fill themselves in, calendar import and iPhone widgets. But statistics are locked to Premium, and no integrations are listed beyond your calendars.
Ease of use
BWe have no App Store rating on record for it, so a B is as high as we go. You type or paste a list with time estimates and it lays out the day, and it works without an internet connection.
B4.3 from about 7,400 App Store ratings, which is a B on our ladder. The day is a column of coloured blocks, and moving one means dragging it along the timeline.
Platforms and integrations
CiPhone and Android only, with no web or desktop version. On Apple devices sessions sync through your own iCloud, and that's the only hook-up listed.
CiPhone and Android, and that's it. There's no web or desktop version, and no integrations are listed. The Google Play listing shows the Android app was last updated on Sep 23, 2025.

Key features

Ebbi

Day plan from tasks and estimates
Type tasks with time estimates, or paste a whole list, and Ebbi lays them out in order with a start time on each task and a finish time for the whole plan.
Auto-split tasks and labeled breaks
Tasks of 25 minutes or more are split into shorter blocks with short resets between them. Resets can be named, such as a walk or the laundry, and the number of blocks changed.
Live finish time
During a session the projected finish time updates as minutes are added or removed or the timer is paused, and the rest of the schedule recalculates.
Focus soundscapes
13 soundscapes include white, pink and brown noise, rain, ocean waves and lo-fi music. Silence, white noise and lo-fi are free; the other ten need Pro.
Progress and estimate accuracy
Today's completed and skipped sessions are shown on the free plan. Pro adds weekly and monthly views and compares planned time with how long tasks actually ran.
On-device data
The app works without an internet connection and the vendor runs no servers that hold user content. On Apple devices, sessions sync through the user's own iCloud account.

TimeBloc

Timelines
Split the day into blocks by the hour or the minute, mark them with icons and colored tags, and reschedule a block by dragging it along the timeline.
Routines
Plan a routine once and TimeBloc places it into the timeline for you. Unlimited routines are a Premium feature.
Calendar integration
Events from your existing calendars can be brought into the day's plan. Unlimited calendars are a Premium feature.
Widgets
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets on iPhone show the next block without opening the app.
Notifications
The app can send a notification for every event. Advanced notifications are listed as a Premium feature.
Statistics
Visualizes your progress over time. Statistics are listed among the Premium features.
