How we grade them
| 3.2GPAReclaim.aiVery good | 3.2GPASkedPalVery good | |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | BStarter is $10 a seat a month billed annually, $12 monthly, with 3 calendar syncs, 3 scheduling links and an 8-week range. About typical for what it does. Unlimited syncs and links need Business at $15. | BCore is $9.95 a month billed annually, or $14.95 monthly, a bit above the middle for planners. It does include the auto-scheduling. But it syncs one calendar account and plans 21 days ahead. More accounts, 60 days and time tracking are Pro, at $14.95 billed annually. |
| Free plan and trial | BThe Lite plan is free for one user, with focus time, habits and buffer time included. But it only schedules 1 week ahead, with 1 calendar sync and 1 scheduling link, and the task integrations stop at Google Tasks. Tight. | CNo free plan. You get 14 days of any plan with every feature and no card needed. After that it's pay or leave, and SkedPal says processed charges are non-refundable. |
| Features | AIt reserves focus blocks to hit a goal you set, fits habits and tasks around your meetings, finds times across every attendee's calendar, and adds breaks and travel time. Booking links and calendar sync are in there too. That's the whole job. | AThe scheduler places tasks by priority, deadline, length and your free time, then reschedules when things move. Time Maps set the hours you prefer, budgets split time between deep work and admin, and lists nest as deep as you like. That's a lot of say over an automatic schedule. |
| Ease of use | BIt works on the calendar you already have, so there's no moving your events anywhere: connect Google or Outlook, set your goals and let it place things. There's no rating on record to go by, so a B at best. | BNo App Store rating on record, so a B is our ceiling. There's homework first: you have to sign up and finish the guided tour in a desktop browser before the phone apps will work, and Time Maps, priorities and durations all want filling in. |
| Platforms and integrations | BA web app only. There are no native iPhone or Android apps, though it can be added to a home screen. It ties into Slack, Zoom, Todoist, Asana, Jira and ClickUp, and Business adds webhooks. Calendars are Google and Outlook only. | AWeb, iPhone and Android, with two-way sync to Google, Office 365 and iCloud calendars, plus Asana and Zapier. There are Mac, Windows and Linux downloads too, but those are Status Tracker apps. The planning itself happens in the web app. |
| Best for | having focus time and tasks put on your calendar for you | having your to-do list scheduled for you |
