Daily Checklist
Day-by-day to-do list app for iPhone and Android
What is Daily Checklist?
Daily Checklist is a to-do app for iPhone and Android built around a list for each day: tasks are added to today, checked off with a tap, and the view swipes between yesterday, today and tomorrow. Lists are split into unlimited tabs, and a task can repeat and carry a priority, a note and an emoji. No login is needed and data stays on the device. The download is free with ads, but reviews and a developer reply on Google Play describe that as a trial, after which the one-time Premium purchase is required.
Daily Checklist is a paid product with a free trial, starting at $4.99 one-time purchase (US App Store). See every plan
Good for
- People who plan one day at a time and check tasks off
- Keeping work, shopping and study lists in separate tabs
- Users who want a to-do app with no account and data kept on the device
Worth knowing
- The store listings say Free with in-app purchases but do not explain the trial; Google Play reviews from 2025 and 2026 say the app stops working after about a week without Premium.
- There is no live sync: data stays on the device and moves to another one only through backup and restore.
- It is for phones and tablets only. The site names iPhone and Android, and there is no web or desktop version.
- Premium costs $4.99 on the US App Store and $5.99 on Google Play.
Key features
- A list for each day
- Today's tasks are checked off with one tap, a swipe moves between yesterday, today and tomorrow, and a task can be copied to today or tomorrow.
- Unlimited tabs
- Lists are separated into as many tabs as needed, such as Work, Shopping and Study, and each tab can hold its own notes.
- Recurring tasks
- A task can repeat daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, and then appears on the list automatically on each due day.
- Priorities, notes and emojis
- Each task can have one of three priority levels, shown as a number of exclamation marks, a longer note, and one of more than 1,000 emojis.
- Date-free lists and notifications
- Static lists that are not tied to a date suit packing or grocery lists, and notifications with a custom message can be set for chosen days and times.
- Backup, CSV export and print
- Backup and restore moves data to another device, including between iPhone and Android. Data can be exported as CSV, and any list can be printed.
