Instinct
Personal AI assistant you text or call, open by invitation

Instinct report card
Very good · out of 4.0 · graded Oct 9, 2026
Best for errands you hand over by text or phone call
Instinct is a personal assistant you text or call, with no new app to learn. Its site says it can use a phone and a computer like a person would, for errands such as disputing a bill, ordering groceries or booking a doctor's appointment. The catch is getting in: it's open by invite link or waitlist, and no prices are published, so we can't tell you what it costs.
Who Instinct is for
- Great if you'd rather text or phone an assistant than learn another app
- Handy when your errands mean phone calls, bookings and online orders
- Good for Google Workspace users who want one assistant across mail, calendar and files
Who Instinct is not for
- Skip it if you want to start today, as you need an invite link from a member or a spot on the waitlist
- Not for you if you need to know the price first, because none is published
- Not for you if you'd mind your materials training AI models by default: you can opt out, and Vault and Google Workspace data are left out
Why Instinct gets a 3.0
Five grades, each with its reason. The GPA is their average: an A is 4 points, an F is none.
- BValue for moneyNo prices are published, so there's nothing to weigh. The terms say fees may be charged for certain features, payable in US dollars, and that's all anyone outside can see. A B is where we put a tool whose paid side the listing can't describe.
- BFree plan and trialThe listing can't say what's free. No prices are published, and the terms only say that certain features may carry fees. So there may well be a free side to it, but nobody can tell you where it stops.
- BFeaturesYou text or call it, and the site says it works a phone and a computer the way a person does: disputing bills, sending gifts, ordering groceries. It can buy things with a payment method you provide. But that's a short description, not documentation, and Google Workspace is the only connection it names.
- BEase of useNothing to learn: you text it or ring it, and web sign-in is a one-time code sent to your phone. Getting access is the hard part, since you need an invite link or a place on the waitlist. No rating is on record, so a B.
- BPlatforms and integrationsYou reach it by text or phone call and sign in on the web. Linking Google Workspace gives it Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Tasks. The terms name a Mac app and mobile apps, but the public site links only to web sign-in.

- The site says Instinct can use a phone and a computer as a person would. Its examples include disputing a bill, sending gifts, ordering groceries and booking appointments.
- Connected services
