Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.2
GPA, above 6 of the 24 other presentation tools we grade
Presentations.AI is an AI presentation tool that builds a slide deck from a prompt, a document, a PDF, a URL or a spreadsheet, writing the copy, choosing layouts and applying brand colors, fonts and a logo pulled from a company website. Decks stay editable and export to PowerPoint or PDF on paid plans. A refresh feature updates an existing master deck with new data or a new audience, and an API generates decks from other systems.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Presentations.AI, taken from its own pages and our grades.
- 1
Best for branded AI decks that export to PowerPoint
Presentations.AI builds a deck from a prompt, document, PDF or URL and brands it with the logo, fonts and colors it takes from your website.
- 2
Paid plans start at $20 a month
As its pricing page puts it: $20 per month, billed annually ($240).
- 3
There is a free plan
Starter plan: 100 AI credits, the Starter AI model and decks of up to 20 slides, with no credit card required. The FAQ describes the credits as a starting allowance.
- 4
It runs on Web
Web, with a browser extension too.
- 5
Deck generation from any input
A text prompt, Word document, PDF, URL, Google Doc or Excel file is turned into a structured deck with copy, layouts and design. The sequence changes with the stated goal, such as a pitch or a board update.
- 6
Brand Sync
Pasting a website URL pulls the logo, fonts and colors and applies them to every slide. Paid plans add custom brand colors and fonts, and Gold adds saved custom templates.
- 7
PowerPoint and PDF export
Paid plans download decks as editable .pptx files that open in PowerPoint or Google Slides, or as PDF. The FAQ advises reviewing an exported file before an important meeting.
- 8
A 2.2 GPA, above 6 of 24
That is against the other presentation tools we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.
- 9
Keep it

The report card
Best for branded AI decks that export to PowerPoint
Presentations.AI builds a deck from a prompt, document, PDF or URL and brands it with the logo, fonts and colors it takes from your website. The free plan stops at 100 credits and 20 slides with no PowerPoint export, Pro is $20 a month sold only by the year at $240, and deck refresh and custom templates need Gold at $600 a year. For a deck now and then, that's a lot.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | D | Pro is $20 a month, billed annually at $240, with no monthly option shown, and the dearest tenth of this category starts at $14.99. Refreshing a master deck, project knowledge and custom templates sit higher again, on Gold at $50 a month. |
| Free plan and trial | C | Starter is free and needs no card, but it's 100 AI credits, the Starter AI model and decks of up to 20 slides, and the FAQ puts PowerPoint export on the paid plans. A taster, not a plan to live on. |
| Features | B | Covers the whole job of an AI deck builder: a prompt, Word document, PDF, URL, Google Doc or Excel file in, a structured deck out, branded from your own website, with password-protected links, per-slide view tracking and a REST API with webhooks. Refresh and custom templates are Gold only. |
| Ease of use | C | No App Store rating on record. You give it a prompt or a link and it writes the copy and picks the layouts, but its own FAQ tells you to check an exported file before an important meeting, which is a fair bit of reviewing. |
| Platforms and integrations | B | A web app and a browser extension, with no phone or desktop app. It connects to Google Drive, Notion, Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Sheets and Tableau, and Zapier, Make or the API can set a deck off. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Presentations.AI is for
- Fits if you make the same kind of branded deck often, for sales or customers
- Works for teams that want decks started from their own systems through the API, Zapier or Make
Who it is not for
- Pricey if you only present now and then, at $240 for the year with no monthly plan shown
- Tight if you're staying free, with 100 AI credits, the Starter model, 20-slide decks and no PowerPoint export
- Not for you if you want to refresh a master deck or use custom templates, unless you pay $50 a month for Gold
- Skip it if you want a phone or desktop app, as it's a web app and a browser extension only
- Watch out: its own FAQ says to check an exported file before an important meeting
Good to know
Good for
- Sales, marketing and customer success teams producing recurring branded decks
- People who want an AI first draft that still ends up as an editable PowerPoint file
- Products and workflows that generate many personalized decks through an API
Worth knowing
- The free Starter plan is limited to 100 AI credits, the Starter AI model and decks of up to 20 slides; the FAQ lists PowerPoint export as a paid feature.
- The pricing page shows Pro and Gold on annual billing only, with AI credits allotted per billing cycle: 5,000 and 25,000.
- Presentation refresh, project knowledge and custom templates are Gold features.
- Listed prices are for the US; the pricing page says prices in other countries are adjusted for purchasing power.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
The plain part of Presentations.AI you could make: templates. What surrounds it you could not. The 4 things listed below take a company, not a weekend.
That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 15 of the 24 other presentation tools grade higher. It costs $240 a year.
What you could make
- Templates: an app builder makes this well.
What you could not
- A slide editor.
- It plugs into other products, Google Drive, Notion and Salesforce among them, and has an API.
- AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
- The depth: we grade its features B, which means it covers the whole job.
What this rests on. Presentations.AI’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
