Part 01 · Overview

Welcome

What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first

2.0

GPA, above 1 of the 74 other calendar and scheduling apps we grade

Reclaim.ai is a scheduling app that works on top of Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar. It automatically reserves time for focus work, recurring habits, tasks and breaks, finds meeting times across attendees' calendars and provides booking links. Reclaim is now part of Dropbox and runs as a web app with a free plan for single users.

To get you started, here are 10 things to know about Reclaim.ai, taken from its own pages and our grades.

  1. 1

Best for having focus time and tasks put on your calendar for you

Reclaim sits on top of Google Calendar or Outlook and books the gaps for you: focus time, habits like lunch or a run, and tasks pulled from Todoist or Jira.

  2. 2

Paid plans start at $10 a month for each person

As its pricing page puts it: $10 per seat / month, billed annually ($12 billed monthly).

  3. 3

    There is a free plan

Lite plan: 1 user, 1-week scheduling range, 1 calendar sync, 1 scheduling link, 5 AI agents and limited integrations (Google Tasks, Slack, Zoom, Google Meet).

  4. 4

    It runs on Web

    Web.

  5. 5

    Focus Time

Set a focus-time goal and Reclaim reserves blocks on your calendar to protect time for uninterrupted work.

  6. 6

    Habits

Schedules recurring routines at the times that fit best around the rest of your calendar.

  7. 7

    Task scheduling

Places tasks on the calendar as flexible blocks, with task integrations for Todoist, Asana, Jira, ClickUp, Linear and Google Tasks.

  8. 8

    Refunds: 30 days

Buy a year and you have 30 days to change your mind, which is more than most calendar apps offer. It isn't an A because the refund is eleven months back rather than twelve, you have to write in for it, it only counts from the day you first start the annual plan and not at a renewal, and monthly payments never come back.

  9. 9

    A 2.0 GPA, above 1 of 74

That is against the other calendar and scheduling apps we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.

  10. 10

    Keep it

The report card

Best for having focus time and tasks put on your calendar for you

Reclaim sits on top of Google Calendar or Outlook and books the gaps for you: focus time, habits like lunch or a run, and tasks pulled from Todoist or Jira. It has no calendar of its own, no native phone app and no support for any other calendar, and the free plan stops at 1 week ahead with 1 sync and 1 link. Unlimited syncs and links start at $15 a seat on Business.

ToolGPA report cardReclaim.aiGraded Oct 10, 2026
SubjectGradeComment
Value for moneyDStarter is $10 a seat a month billed annually, $12 monthly, against a $6 middle for calendar tools. And Starter still caps you at 3 calendar syncs, 3 scheduling links and an 8-week range: unlimited syncs and links, the 12-week range and webhooks all sit on Business at $15.
Free plan and trialCThe free Lite plan covers one user with focus time, habits and buffer time. But it schedules 1 week ahead, with 1 calendar sync and 1 scheduling link, and tasks stop at Google Tasks. You'll hit all of those in a day.
FeaturesCFocus blocks, habits, tasks placed around meetings, times found across attendees and booking links: it does the auto-scheduling job fully. But it's a smaller job than a calendar app's, because Reclaim has no calendar of its own and only works with Google Calendar and Outlook.
Ease of useCThere's no store rating on record to go by, and the listing has you connect Google or Outlook and then set focus-time goals and habits before anything gets placed. That's setup, not open-and-go.
Platforms and integrationsBA web app only, with no native iPhone or Android app, though it can be added to a home screen. It does tie into Slack, Zoom, Todoist, Asana, Jira and ClickUp, and Business adds webhooks.
Grade point averageFair, out of 4.02.0

An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.

Who Reclaim.ai is for

  • Fits if you live in Google Calendar or Outlook and want focus time blocked out for you
  • Works for people whose tasks sit in Todoist, Asana or Jira and never reach the calendar

Who it is not for

  • Skip it if your calendar is on iCloud, as it works only with Google Calendar and Outlook
  • Tight if you stay on Lite, which plans 1 week ahead with 1 calendar sync and 1 scheduling link
  • Pricey if you want unlimited calendar syncs and links, because that's Business at $15 a seat a month
  • Not for you if you want a proper phone app, because there's only a web app you add to your home screen
  • Watch out: Starter stops at 10 seats, and SSO needs Enterprise with at least 100 seats on annual billing

Good to know

Good for

  • Google Calendar or Outlook users who want focus time and tasks scheduled for them
  • Individuals looking for a free plan with basic auto-scheduling
  • Teams that want shared out-of-office visibility and time analytics

Worth knowing

  • There are no native iOS or Android apps; Reclaim is a web app that can be added to a home screen as a PWA.
  • It works only with Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar.
  • The free Lite plan is limited to 1 user, a 1-week scheduling range, 1 calendar sync and 1 scheduling link.
  • Starter is capped at 10 seats and Business at 100. Enterprise, where SSO and SCIM are listed, requires at least 100 seats and annual billing.

Reclaim.ai's GPA of 2.0 is higher than 1 of the 74 other calendar and scheduling apps we grade, and level with 3.

It stands best on platforms and integrations (B, above 25 of 74) and worst on value for money (D, above 0).

Keep it, or make your own?

Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.

Keep it

The plain part of Reclaim.ai you could make: calendar, time blocking, tasks and habit tracking. What surrounds it you could not. The 5 things listed below take a company, not a weekend.

That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 70 of the 74 other calendar and scheduling apps grade higher. It costs $120 a year.

What you could make

  • Calendar, time blocking, tasks and habit tracking: an app builder makes these well.

What you could not

  • A scheduler that rearranges your day as things move.
  • Booking pages that read and write other people's calendars and send the emails.
  • It is priced for each person, which means accounts and billing for a team.
  • It plugs into other products, Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar and Slack among them.
  • AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.

What this rests on. Reclaim.ai’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.

Refunds and cancelling

BGrade

Good · checked Oct 18, 2026

Buy a year and you have 30 days to change your mind, which is more than most calendar apps offer. It isn't an A because the refund is eleven months back rather than twelve, you have to write in for it, it only counts from the day you first start the annual plan and not at a renewal, and monthly payments never come back. Cancelling itself is painless: a button on the Billing page, access to the end of the period, then the free Lite plan.

Refund window
30 days
How you cancel
Yourself, in settings
Getting your money back

The terms say fees for a paid subscription are non-refundable and non-creditable, including for partial months, with one exception: cancel an annual subscription within 30 days of its initial start date and it ends at the close of that 30-day period, and you may contact Reclaim for a pro-rata refund worth eleven months of the fee, less transaction fees and taxes. The billing article repeats the 30-day limit.

Stated on reclaim.ai
How to cancel Reclaim.ai

A paid plan is cancelled in the app on the Billing and Team page, reached from the profile photo at the top right, by pressing Cancel plan under the free Lite plan. Only account admins can manage billing for a team. A free trial needs no action at all: Reclaim says it ends on its own and the account moves to Lite without a charge.

  1. Click your profile photo at the top right and select Billing
  2. On the Billing and Team page, click Cancel plan under the free Lite plan
  3. Select Proceed to Cancel
  4. Answer the few questions about why you are cancelling
  5. Confirm to finalise the cancellation
Stated on help.reclaim.ai
What you keep afterwards

The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and until then every paid feature stays available. After that the account drops to the free Lite plan and no further charges apply. A separate article on deleting an account says deletion is self-service and permanent, and that Reclaim clears the events it created and wipes account data within about an hour.

Stated on help.reclaim.ai
Renewals

The terms say you authorise Reclaim to bill your payment instrument in advance on a periodic basis under the applicable payment plan until you terminate your account. No page read mentions a reminder before a yearly renewal, and the 30-day refund window is tied to the initial start date of an annual subscription rather than to each renewal.

Stated on reclaim.ai

In your favour

  • Thirty days to change your mind on an annual plan is generous for a calendar app at this price.
  • You cancel yourself from the Billing page, with nobody to email and no notice period.
  • Paid features run to the end of the period you already paid for, then the account drops to free Lite.
  • Deleting the account is self-service too, and Reclaim says it wipes your data and tidies your calendar.

Watch out for

  • Inside the 30 days you get eleven months back, not twelve, less transaction fees and taxes.
  • You have to contact Reclaim to claim that refund; the Billing page won't do it for you.
  • The window runs from the day you first start an annual plan, so a renewal you forgot about is not covered.
  • Monthly payments are non-refundable, and the terms rule out credits for part of a month.

Customer support

AGrade

Excellent · checked Oct 18, 2026

Reclaim puts numbers on its support and keeps them in one short article: live chat with the team, weekdays 7 in the morning to 5 in the evening Pacific, and a reply usually inside an hour during those hours. Email is open at any time, the help centre is public, and nothing we read limits the chat to a particular plan. Live help with stated hours and a stated reply time is an A.

Ways to get help

  • Live chat

Live chat with the support team, opened from inside the app, from the help docs or from the website. The contact article calls it the best way to reach the team during support hours and names no plan that it is limited to.

    Stated on help.reclaim.ai
  • Email

The support team can be emailed at any hour from the address the account is registered under. For a product outage or a severe problem the article asks you to put Emergency in the subject line.

    Stated on help.reclaim.ai
  • Help centre

A public help centre with articles grouped into billing, settings, calendar sync, account and team administration, security and troubleshooting, open without logging in.

    Stated on help.reclaim.ai

Not listed on Reclaim.ai’s pages: phone.

When people answer

The contact article gives support hours of Monday to Friday, 7 in the morning to 5 in the evening Pacific Time. It adds that the team does its best to monitor requests sent outside those hours and answer them by urgency.

Stated on help.reclaim.ai
How fast it says it replies

The contact article says the team typically responds in less than one hour during support hours. It attaches no plan to that figure, and states no target for messages sent outside support hours beyond answering by urgency.

Stated on help.reclaim.ai
What depends on your plan

Its pages do not say.

In your favour

  • Live chat reaches the support team, and the contact page says so plainly.
  • It states both the hours and a reply time, which plenty of bigger tools never do.
  • Email is accepted at any hour, with an Emergency flag for anything urgent.
  • The help centre is public and has step-by-step articles on cancelling and deleting an account.

Watch out for

  • Support hours are one US time zone only, so a European afternoon falls outside them.
  • No page we read says what support each plan gets, so there is no stated difference to rely on.
  • The under-an-hour reply is what typically happens, not a promise.
  • There is no phone line listed anywhere on the pages read.

What these two grades rest on. Read on 18 October 2026: Reclaim's terms of service and their Refunds and Cancellations clause, its help articles on managing or cancelling a subscription, on deleting an account and on contacting support, the help centre's front page and its pricing page. Nobody here cancelled a plan or contacted its support. They are graded apart from the five that make the GPA. How we grade refunds and support.
