Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
1.8
GPA, above 1 of the 30 other website and landing page builders we grade
Super publishes Notion pages as websites: content is written and arranged in Notion, and Super builds, styles and hosts the site, syncing edits automatically. A free site runs on a super.site address with a 'Made with Super' badge. Paid plans are priced per site and add a custom domain, custom code, password protection and, on Pro, file uploads, search and multi-language sites.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Super, taken from its own pages and our grades.
If you already live in Notion, that's lovely.

The report card
Best for turning Notion pages into a website
Super turns your Notion pages into a fast website on your own domain, and every edit you make in Notion shows up on the site by itself. If you already live in Notion, that's lovely. If you don't, it's no use to you, because Super has no editor of its own, and it's $12 a month per site on yearly billing.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | C | Personal is $12 a month for one site on yearly billing ($16 monthly), with your own domain, custom code and no badge. That's the middle of what this category charges, and analytics ($10 a month and up) and team seats ($5 a member) cost extra. |
| Free plan and trial | C | One free site at a time on a super.site address, with themes, unlimited pages and a 'Made with Super' badge. Your own domain needs a paid plan. |
| Features | D | It does one thing: publish Notion pages as a styled, hosted site with SEO settings, custom code and password protection. It needs Notion to be useful at all, since all your content has to live there, and there's no store in the listing. |
| Ease of use | C | No app store rating on record. Paste a Notion link and you have a site, but you'll still style it in the theme builder and keep the pages tidy in Notion. |
| Platforms and integrations | C | Web only, and its one integration is Notion itself. No phone or desktop app of its own, and no API in the listing. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Super is for
- Great if you already write and organise everything in Notion
- Handy when you want docs, a blog or a personal site that updates as you edit in Notion
- Good for small teams who'd rather not learn a website builder at all
Who it is not for
- Skip it if you don't use Notion, as Super has no page editor of its own
- Pricey if you want visitor stats, as analytics is an add-on from $10 a month
- Too light for an online shop, since there's no store in the listing
Good to know
Good for
- Notion users who want their pages on a fast site with their own domain
- Personal sites, docs and blogs kept up to date in Notion
- Small teams that already write and organize everything in Notion
Worth knowing
- Content must live in Notion; Super is a publishing layer rather than a page editor of its own.
- Only one free site can be active at a time, and each paid site is billed separately.
- Analytics are a paid add-on that rises with traffic: $10 a month up to 10,000 views, $30 at 200,000 and $400 at 20 million.
- Team collaboration costs $5 per member a month, or $50 a year, on top of site plans.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Your call
You could make the core of Super for yourself: templates.
What you would give up is listed below. Whether that is worth the price is your call. It costs $144 a year.
What you could make
- Templates: an app builder makes this well.
- It runs in a browser, which is where something home-made would run too.
What you could not
- A builder that other people can use without writing code.
What this rests on. Super’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
