Part 01 · Overview

Welcome

What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first

2.2

GPA, above 6 of the 40 other automation tools we grade

Unito is a no-code integration platform built around two-way sync: a flow links two tools so that a change to a task, issue, ticket or record in one shows up in the other. Rules decide which items sync and field mappings decide how they line up. It has more than 60 connectors for project management, development, support and CRM tools, and plans are priced by the number of items kept in sync.

To get you started, here are 8 things to know about Unito, taken from its own pages and our grades.

  1. 1

Best for keeping two work tools in step, both ways

Unito keeps two work tools in step both ways, so a ticket changed in Jira changes in Asana too, comments and subtasks included.

  2. 2

    You can try it first

14-day free trial with up to 500 items in sync and unlimited flows

  3. 3

    It runs on Web

    Web.

  4. 4

    Two-way sync flows

A flow connects two tools and copies changes in both directions, so one flow stands in for the separate triggers and actions an automation builder would need.

  5. 5

    Rules

Rules set which items sync, when and where, using filters and conditions. They can include existing items, so past records are brought across as well as new ones.

  6. 6

    Field and user mapping

Fields are mapped between tools by hand or automatically, including custom fields, with a direction for each one. Users are mapped so assignments stay with the right person.

  7. 7

    A 2.2 GPA, above 6 of 40

That is against the other automation tools we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.

  8. 8

    Keep it

To replace Unito you would be making connections to other products, each kept working as those products change. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

The report card

Best for keeping two work tools in step, both ways

Unito keeps two work tools in step both ways, so a ticket changed in Jira changes in Asana too, comments and subtasks included. It publishes no price: you see one only inside the app once your 14-day trial has started. There's no free plan, Basic and Pro update every 5 to 15 minutes, Salesforce and ServiceNow are Enterprise only, and each synced item counts twice against your limit.

ToolGPA report cardUnitoGraded Oct 10, 2026
SubjectGradeComment
Value for moneyCNothing to compare, because Unito publishes no price at all: the figures turn up inside the app once the trial starts. What is on record is how the meter works. Plans are sized by items in sync, an item synced between two tools counts as two, and sitting over your limit upgrades the workspace for you.
Free plan and trialCThere is no free plan to fall back on, just a 14-day trial: 500 items in sync, unlimited flows, and closed work items left out of it. The listing doesn't say whether signing up wants a card.
FeaturesCTwo-way sync, covering rules, field and user mapping, comments, attachments, subtasks and parent-child links across 60-odd connectors. It's a narrower job than this category's, though, and the listing shows where it's trimmed: Basic and Pro update every 5 to 15 minutes.
Ease of useCNo rating on record, and a flow is something you build: two tools to connect, rules to decide what crosses over, fields to map, users to line up so assignments land on the right person. No code, but not nothing either.
Platforms and integrationsBWeb only, no phone or desktop app on the listing. The connector list is what earns it the mark: 60-plus tools, from Asana and Jira to GitHub and monday.com. Building your own connector is an Enterprise thing.
Grade point averageFair, out of 4.02.2

An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.

Who Unito is for

  • Fits if one team lives in Jira and another in Asana, and both need the same tasks
  • Works for sending support tickets to developers and bringing their updates back

Who it is not for

  • Not for you if you want the price before you sign up, as it's only shown in the app
  • Skip it if you need Salesforce, ServiceNow or NetSuite on a small plan, as those connectors are Enterprise only
  • Tight if you sync a lot, because each item counts twice and staying over your limit upgrades you automatically
  • Tight if you want a free plan, since there's only a 14-day trial capped at 500 items that leaves closed work out
  • Watch out: Basic and Pro update every 5 to 15 minutes, and live syncing is Enterprise only

Good to know

Good for

  • Teams keeping tasks or tickets aligned across two tools, such as Jira and Asana
  • Support and development teams escalating tickets between systems
  • Companies that want records updated in both directions, not copied one way

Worth knowing

  • Unito does not publish prices: self-serve plan prices appear in the app during the trial, and Enterprise is quoted by sales.
  • Premium connectors such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, NetSuite and Jira Data Center are limited to Enterprise plans.
  • An item synced between two tools counts as two items in sync, and a workspace that stays over its limit is upgraded automatically.
  • There is no free plan. The trial does not sync closed work items.

What it does

Its main features, where it runs, what it works with and who makes it

Place it runs: Web

Two-way sync between work tools such as Jira, Asana and Salesforce. Here is what it does, as its own site describes it, and what it covers: workflow automation, no-code.

Web only, no phone or desktop app on the listing.
From our grade for platforms and integrations
Two-way sync flows
A flow connects two tools and copies changes in both directions, so one flow stands in for the separate triggers and actions an automation builder would need.
Rules
Rules set which items sync, when and where, using filters and conditions. They can include existing items, so past records are brought across as well as new ones.
Field and user mapping
Fields are mapped between tools by hand or automatically, including custom fields, with a direction for each one. Users are mapped so assignments stay with the right person.
Comments, attachments and hierarchies
Unito syncs comments, attachments, subtasks and parent-child links between items of different types. The 14-day trial shows attachments as links to the source tool.
Live updates through webhooks
Webhooks are configured automatically to push changes in under a minute. The self-serve Basic and Pro plans are described as updating every 5 to 15 minutes.
Developer Platform
A toolkit for building a private or public connector for any tool with an API, using JavaScript, so it can sync with every other Unito connector. Listed under Enterprise.

Part 04 · Standing

Where it stands

Its grades against its category, and whether to keep it or make your own

6/40

Other automation tools it is graded above

Unito's GPA of 2.2 is higher than 6 of the 40 other automation tools we grade, and level with 8.

It stands best on platforms and integrations (B, above 10 of 40) and worst on features (C, above 1).

Each grade against the category

Every bar is all 41 automation tools we grade, cut by the letter each got. Unito’s own letter is outlined.

Keep it, or make your own?

Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.

Keep it

To replace Unito you would be making connections to other products, each kept working as those products change. That is not a weekend's work, with an AI app builder or without one.

That makes this kind of software worth paying for, not this one in particular: 26 of the 40 other automation tools grade higher.

What you could not

  • Connections to other products, each kept working as those products change.
  • A builder that other people can use without writing code.

What this rests on. Unito’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
