WPS Spreadsheet is the Excel lookalike inside the free WPS Office suite. It opens and saves .xlsx files, has more than 500 functions, and WPS AI writes formulas from a plain description. But the free version carries advertising, the paid AI tools pause at a daily limit, there's no API, the paid trial is 3 days, and some AI features reach Windows first.
