Part 01 · Overview
Welcome
What it is, who it suits, its grades and the ten things to know first
2.8
GPA, above 48 of the 69 other daily planner apps we grade
Yoodoo is a phone planner aimed at people with ADHD. Tasks are dumped into priority lists and placed on a visual timeline of the day, missed tasks are rescheduled automatically, and anything unfinished rolls over to tomorrow. A focus timer, routines and a habit tracker are built in. The free Lite version covers the core planner, and Yoodoo PRO adds Instaplan, which turns a list into a time-blocked schedule in one tap, along with an app blocker, AI task breakdown, calendar sync and time tracking.
To get you started, here are 9 things to know about Yoodoo, taken from its own pages and our grades.
The prices differing between the site and the App Store is the one muddle.
- 1
Best for ADHD brains that stall on what to do next
But it's phones only, and Instaplan, the app blocker and calendar sync are PRO.
- 2
Paid plans start at $3.33 a month
As its pricing page puts it: $3.33 per month, billed annually ($39.99 per year).
- 3
There is a free plan
Yoodoo Lite is free with no time limit: time-blocking timeline, task lists, focus timer, auto-reschedule of missed tasks, next-task suggestions, routines, habit tracker, widgets and reminders.
- 4
It runs on 2 platforms
iOS and Android.
- 5
Time-blocking timeline
Tasks from three priority lists (essentials, nice-to-dos and everything else) are placed on a visual timeline that shows what to focus on now.
- 6
Instaplan
A PRO feature that turns any list into a time-blocked schedule for the day in one tap.
- 7
Rescheduling and rollover
Missed tasks are rescheduled automatically and unfinished ones move to tomorrow. PRO's bulk reschedule resets the whole day in one tap.
- 8
A 2.8 GPA, above 48 of 69
That is against the other daily planner apps we grade, on value, the free plan, features, ease of use and platforms.

The report card
Best for ADHD brains that stall on what to do next
Yoodoo is a phone planner for people with ADHD: dump tasks into three priority lists, put them on a timeline, and missed ones reschedule themselves. Lite is free with no time limit and PRO is $39.99 a year. But it's phones only, and Instaplan, the app blocker and calendar sync are PRO. App Store prices differ from the site, and a V4 is announced for October 2026, so features and plans may change.
| Subject | Grade | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | B | PRO is $39.99 a year, $3.33 a month, inside the cheaper quarter of this category, or $4.99 paying monthly, with Lifetime at $99.99 once. Watch the App Store, though: it shows the year at $34.99 and a $3.99 weekly option that works out at about $17 a month, the dearest tenth of the category. |
| Free plan and trial | B | Lite is free with no time limit: the timeline, the brain-dump lists, the focus timer, auto-reschedule, next-task suggestions, routines, habits, widgets and reminders. Unlimited lists, habits and routines are PRO, as is Instaplan. |
| Features | B | Three priority lists feeding a visual timeline, missed tasks that reschedule themselves, leftovers that roll to tomorrow, a focus timer, routines with timed steps and habit streaks. PRO adds one-tap planning, AI task breakdown, an app blocker, two-way calendar sync and time tracking by category. The job is covered. |
| Ease of use | B | No store rating on record, but there's nothing to set up: install it, dump your tasks into three lists, and it suggests what's next and tidies up after a missed one. The prices differing between the site and the App Store is the one muddle. |
| Platforms and integrations | C | iPhone and Android, with no web or desktop version listed anywhere. PRO syncs both ways with Google, Apple or Outlook calendars, and that's the only wiring on record. |
An A is worth 4 points, a B 3, a C 2, a D 1 and an F nothing. The GPA is the average of the five.
Who Yoodoo is for
- Fits if you have ADHD and stall when it's time to pick the next thing
- Works for turning a brain dump into a timed plan for the day
Who it is not for
- Skip it if you plan at a computer, as it's phone apps only
- Not for you if you need calendar sync for free, because that's PRO
- Tight if you're staying on Lite and want Instaplan, AI task breakdown or the app blocker, which are PRO
- Watch out: the site says PRO is $39.99 a year, while the App Store lists $34.99 and a $3.99 weekly option
- Watch out: the site announces Yoodoo V4 for October 2026, so features and plans may change
Good to know
Good for
- People with ADHD who stall when deciding what to do next

- The pricing page gives $39.99 a year for PRO, while the US App Store lists YooDoo Pro Yearly at $34.99 and a $3.99 weekly option with a 3-day trial.
- The site announces Yoodoo V4 for October 2026 and is taking beta sign-ups, so features and plans may change.

Keep it, or make your own?
Whether this is something you could build for yourself with an AI app builder, and what you would give up.
Keep it
The plain part of Yoodoo you could make: time blocking, tasks, habit tracking and time tracking. What surrounds it you could not. The 5 things listed below take a company, not a weekend.
It is one of the better ones too: its GPA of 2.8 is higher than 48 of the 69 other daily planner apps we grade. It costs $39.96 a year.
What you could make
- Time blocking, tasks, habit tracking and time tracking: an app builder makes these well.
What you could not
- A scheduler that rearranges your day as things move.
- Blocking that reaches every browser and app and is hard to switch off.
- A real app for iOS and Android. Something home-made would be a web page.
- AI features, unless you pay a model provider for each request yourself.
- The depth: we grade its features B, which means it covers the whole job.
What this rests on. Yoodoo’s listing: what it does, where it runs, what it plugs into and what it costs. It is a judgement about the kind of software this is. We have not built a replacement for it, and making your own means looking after it too. How we decide, and every tool’s verdict.
