Worth knowing
24me
- The store listings cover iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Android and Wear OS. Neither they nor the vendor's site mention a web, Mac or Windows app.
- Email to tasks, location-based reminders, nag alerts, timezone support and printing the schedule all need Premium.
- The App Store's in-app purchase list also shows items named 24me Pro from $9.99 to $99.99 with no billing period, and Google Play gives only a range of $7.99 to $64.99 per item.
Opus One
- Apple devices only: iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. The vendor lists no Android, Windows or web version.
- Cloud sync, goals, attachments, categories, repeating rules, weather and Siri all need the Opus One Pro subscription.
- The App Store lists two Pro prices, $4.99 and $39.99, and says the subscription is monthly or yearly without labelling which price is which.
- The Apple Reminders import is one-way: imported tasks are removed from the Reminders list.
Key features
24me
- One calendar for events, tasks and notes
- Events, to-dos and notes are listed together on a calendar with several views, synced with Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, Yahoo Calendar and Apple iCal.
- To-do list with reminders
- Tasks take color labels and multiple reminders and can be added by voice, including through Siri and Amazon Alexa. Turning an email into a task is part of Premium.
- Notes and lists
- Notes can hold text, photos, videos and voice recordings, cover things like shopping lists, and appear on the calendar next to events and tasks.
- Smart alerts
- Time-to-leave alerts follow traffic conditions, and there are weather alerts, birthday reminders and a summary of the next day's meetings and to-dos.
- Conference call dialing
- With a dial-in number and passcode entered in a meeting's location field, the app dials into the call without the codes being typed again.
- Shared lists and events
- Lists, tasks, events, reminders and notes can be shared with family members or colleagues and stay in sync for everyone taking part.
Opus One
- A page for each day
- Each day has its own page holding tasks ranked by A/B/C priority, a schedule that shows calendar events next to the tasks, daily notes, the weather and a quote.
- Master Tasks
- A separate list for tasks that have no due date yet, kept apart from the daily pages until a place is found for them in the planner.
- Planner views
- Five planner views cover a day, a week or a month with the task list at the side. Tasks, events and goals are rescheduled by dragging and dropping them.
- Goals, roles and mission
- Goals have timelines and visible progress and can be linked to daily tasks. Separate pages hold life roles, a mission statement, values and vision.
- Notes and journals
- Notes take text, photos, PDFs, checklists, audio and drawings. Journals come with 25 covers and include a guided Gratitude Journal.
- Eisenhower matrix and categories
- Tasks can be shown in an Eisenhower matrix, sorted by priority or by color-coded category, and repeated with custom rules.
