How we grade them
| 2.4GPAAcceleventsFair | 2.8GPATitoGood | |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | DA licence from $7,500 for one event, or $13,500 for unlimited events, with no fee on tickets. It's a different kind of thing, so we set it against its listed alternatives, Eventzilla, Eventbrite, Tito and Luma, which charge per ticket or by the month and cost less unless your event is very big. | B3% of each paid ticket, so 200 tickets at $20 costs you $120 a month, with Stripe or PayPal fees on top that we haven't counted. You pay it, since Tito won't add it for buyers, and it's billed in euros. Still one of the cheapest here at this size. |
| Free plan and trial | CNo free plan. A Try for Free sign-up lets you set up an event, but its length and limits aren't stated. | ANo subscription or setup fee, and every feature is included whatever you sell. Free events cost nothing, so a meetup that never charges never pays a thing. |
| Features | ARegistration, kiosk check-in by QR code or RFID, badge printing, agendas, call for speakers, exhibitor floor plans and lead capture, and an attendee app with networking. It covers the whole job and handles exhibitors, which nothing else here does. | CEmbedded checkout, waitlists, secret and invoice tickets, discount codes, pages in 15 languages and check-in apps cover a conference well. But there's no reserved seating or selling at the door on record, and the fee can't be passed to buyers. |
| Ease of use | CNo App Store rating on record. Setting up a conference with kiosks, badges, agendas and exhibitors is a real project, with plenty to configure before the doors open. | CNo App Store rating on record. You connect Stripe or PayPal and build an event page, and putting the checkout on your own site takes a snippet of code: easy for developers, less so for everyone else. |
| Platforms and integrations | BWeb and iPhone, with Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, ActiveCampaign, Zapier and an MCP server, though the API and webhooks need Enterprise. No Android or desktop app is listed. | BWeb, plus iPhone and Android check-in apps, with Stripe, PayPal, Google Tag Manager, Facebook, webhooks and a full read and write API. No desktop app, which an A needs. |
| Best for | big conferences with exhibitors and badges | tech conferences and meetups |

Worth knowing
Accelevents
- Plans are licenses, not ticket fees: Professional starts at $7,500 for one event and Business at $13,500, with the billing period not stated.
- The API and webhooks come only with Enterprise, and removing Accelevents branding needs the White Label plan.
- Virtual event features are a paid add-on on every plan, and single sign-on costs extra.
- Card payments run through Stripe, Square or Payflow, whose processing fees apply; Accelevents adds no transaction fee.
Tito
- Tito keeps 3% of each paid ticket (2.5% for charity and community events), capped at €25 a ticket, plus Stripe or PayPal fees (2.9% + 30¢ with Stripe in the US).
- Fees cannot be passed to buyers as a separate booking fee; Tito suggests building them into the ticket price.
- Tito's fees are charged in euros: taken from each Stripe or PayPal payment, or billed monthly to a card for pay-by-invoice tickets.
- Tito Pro, a separate white-label product for invitation-only events, starts at €99 a month and has a waiting list.
