How we grade them
| 3.0GPAHumanitixVery good | 2.8GPATitoGood | |
|---|---|---|
| Value for money | BNothing for you by default, as buyers pay the fee. Humanitix's own part is 2.1% + $0.99 a ticket, $282 on 200 $20 tickets, or $458 at 5% + $1.29 with card processing folded in. That's a fair whack for buyers, which is why it isn't an A. You can absorb or split it instead. | B3% of each paid ticket, so 200 tickets at $20 costs you $120 a month, with Stripe or PayPal fees on top that we haven't counted. You pay it, since Tito won't add it for buyers, and it's billed in euros. Still one of the cheapest here at this size. |
| Free plan and trial | ANo subscription or sign-up fee, every feature on every plan, and free events, imported tickets and manual orders cost nothing at all. | ANo subscription or setup fee, and every feature is included whatever you sell. Free events cost nothing, so a meetup that never charges never pays a thing. |
| Features | BSeat maps, capacity rules, merchandise, gift cards, invoices, a waitlist, an offline door app that sells and flags VIPs, and a marketplace you can search by access needs. Payouts come after the event by default, with earlier ones offered. It covers the whole job. | CEmbedded checkout, waitlists, secret and invoice tickets, discount codes, pages in 15 languages and check-in apps cover a conference well. But there's no reserved seating or selling at the door on record, and the fee can't be passed to buyers. |
| Ease of use | CNo App Store rating on record. Event pages are designed with Canva tools, and Humanitix Payments means no processor account to set up, but there's still a page and tickets to build. | CNo App Store rating on record. You connect Stripe or PayPal and build an event page, and putting the checkout on your own site takes a snippet of code: easy for developers, less so for everyone else. |
| Platforms and integrations | BWeb, iPhone and Android, with Stripe, Mailchimp, Salesforce, Facebook, Canva and Tixel for resale, plus a widget for your own site. No desktop app, which an A needs. | BWeb, plus iPhone and Android check-in apps, with Stripe, PayPal, Google Tag Manager, Facebook, webhooks and a full read and write API. No desktop app, which an A needs. |
| Best for | ticket fees that go to charity | tech conferences and meetups |
